South Bay Customs is located in the heart of El Segundo, 10 minutes from LAX. Our eclectic, cozy, industrial space provides all you could want for a memorable wedding. We have hundreds of antique and one of a kind art pieces, a full turn-key stage, and the best lights in the area. We also have a wonderful outdoor area with comfortable furniture for your guests. Our venue started as a music recording studio. We still have several studios that operate Monday through Friday. The event business was born out of people coming into the recording studios and asking if they could throw a party in our space and one thing led to another. We love hosting all different kinds of events from weddings, to parties, fundraisers, film shoots, and even the occasional small concert.

It all started when the founder of Bedhead Pajamas, Renee Claire Bertrand, and her husband, artist Lavi Daniel, discovered a historical art deco theater ( built-in 1948) near USC and decided to restore the gem back to its original glory which included reconstruction of the 23' bow truss ceiling! NES is a gorgeous raw space and blank canvas for your creative vision with warm natural diffused skylights (8), a private gated closed campus, and additional parking across the street (also used for valet).
