The George Ranch is over 100 years old, making it one of Texas’ oldest ranches. It sits on 22,000 picturesque acres of pristine Texas countryside located just 30 miles south of downtown Houston.

Your wedding at Palm Royal Villa will begin in one of two get-ready suites, both of which are elegantly furnished to create relaxing atmospheres. One of these suites is painted a pale pink and comes with chic chaise lounges, four vanities, and a floral accent wall. The other has a metallic color scheme, comfortable black leather couches, and a flat screen TV. From here, you will make your way down the grand staircase to the main level for your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Round and banquet tables, Chiavari chairs with cushions, and floor-length black and white linens. You will also have access to the property ahead of the festivities for a two-hour photo shoot and a one-hour rehearsal. On the momentous occasion, a venue manager will be on-site to make sure that everything runs smoothly. The event staff also offers valet parking and assistance with setup and cleanup. Their goal is to create a seamless celebration that allows you sit back, relax, and indulge in the romance.

Facilities and Capacity This waterfront venue has a party barn that is ideal for a shabby chic wedding or country-style event, accommodating up to 400 people. There is also a large screened-in porch area adjacent to the river that allows for a unique outdoor patio wedding. It can be used as an extension of the party barn for cocktails and mingling, accommodating up to 250 guests.

Having throughout my life a heart for restoration, I couldn’t help myself when I discovered this property. It had been neglected for years but I could see its potential and its location was perfect. There are 3 beautiful teardrop chandeliers and wall dimmable lights which make the ballroom look very elegant and luxurious. This ballroom is fully set with the best professional lighting equipment, disco ball, spot lights, neon lights etc.; - Second floor ballroom can be used for smaller parties for 15-30 people. Or can be used as a Bride and Groom room. This ballroom is also having some extra disco lights; - We have an elevator; - 3 full restrooms: 2 downstairs near the main ballroom and 1 upstairs; - Very nice elegant lobby; - Both ballrooms are fully equipped with professional audio systems.
