“We recently had Robert DJ our June wedding. Pros were that he was on time and friendly. He handled little hiccups smoothly and w/o complaint. Prices are reasonable and he offers a lot of services, like ceremony recordings and fun add-ons. He really can be a one-stop shop for a lot of wedding entertainment. While I think he is a good all-purpose DJ, I'm not sure that he was the right fit for us in the end. Specifically our two biggest concerns were that 1) he didn't consistently use the language we had asked him to use to address guests and 2) communication leading up to the wedding was less organized than I would have preferred. In our case, we really prioritized communicating with vendors about our desire for an affirming, somewhat non-traditional wedding. From the onset when we hired vendors, we asked about comfort and experience working with a diverse range of guests and requested that vendors be attentive to using inclusive language, especially as it relates to including LGBTQ folks. In the case of DJ services, we requested he not use gendered language like "ladies and gentlemen" due to the gender diversity of our guests. We also had an integrated wedding party so we weren't using some of the traditional wedding party language. I get that this is a specific and maybe unusual request, so we wanted to be really sure our vendors were okay with it, and Robert was super friendly and agreeable when we talked about it. I think Robert's intentions were really good here -- he expressed a lot of desire to make sure he got this right and willingness to be careful. Maybe those requests were made too long ago though, because when we got to the day of, we had a lot of issues here. Our coordinator had to talk to him about using less gendered language, which did not seem to result in much improvement (there was definitely effort...at one point he said "ladies and....guests....esteemed guests" but then he went right back to "ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls"), and it was really frustrating for both us and her. He also told us we'd have a ceremony recording the day after. There was really no rush, but that was what he told us would happen. Instead, we got the recording a week later than he had originally stated, and we were not told it would be delayed until I asked twice. I think it's also worth noting that the ceremony recording did not include the music for procession and recession. (This is on us, we should have confirmed that would be included, but it was disappointing) Communication tended to be a little last-minute and unscheduled -- e.g., spontaneous phone calls rather than putting something on the calendar. Followups were sometimes required. He also texted me (bride) the morning of asking if he could bring an assistant and requesting we add a meal for that additional person. Not a big deal, but I do wish he would have communicated in advance/not while we were all trying to get ready. Otherwise, I thought/heard feedback that some of the music transitions were a bit awkward, but not to an extent that was too disruptive. None of these are big issues, but the multitude of small communication inconveniences and frustrations did add up to where I would not feel comfortable recommending Frederick DJs to a friend. Robert is nice, but I'm not sure he was the right call for our needs. He might be a better fit for someone else, particularly if you are looking to include a number of add-ons and want to use one, reasonably-priced company”

“Josh had our whole wedding dancing all night. With really creative mixing, he was able to blend in so many different genres seamlessly. Most importantly, he was really attuned to the crowd's energy and was great about knowing when to play a song in full and when to just tease us with quick samples. If you're looking for someone who really listens to what you want, instead of playing just the same 30 songs you hear at every wedding, Josh is your DJ. The music selection process is easy - in addition to check-in calls and zooms, he uses an app, so you can build you can craft the perfect playlist ahead of time. We both really enjoyed adding songs to our app throughout the planning process. But the best was actually hearing the way he was able to combine so many of our favorite songs for our reception party. He had all our of guests (ages ranging from 10 to over 80 years old) dancing all night long. Our first comment from friends the day after our wedding was about how fun they had on the dance floor and how great the music was! I also think its important to add that Josh handled our wedding ceremony music, cocktail music, dinner music and sparkler exits as well- he provided mics, sounds systems, everything we needed, and all of those were executed perfectly. He was on time for set-up, very respectful of the rules/guidelines in places at our historic venue, and he collaborated really well with our other vendors to make sure everything looked and sounded perfect. Also he is just the nicest guy- really responsive on email and genuine- which was so, so appreciated during tho last few chaotic months of wedding planning. 10/10 - highly recommend.”

“Our coordinator at Wyndridge Farms recommended we book Baltimore Event Solutions and specifically request "Korey with a K." After just a few minutes of viewing the photos and videos of gigs he had posted on his Facebook page we knew he was our guy. He reaffirmed this decision during our intro call when the first thing he said to us was, "Just know on your wedding day, I've got you." We instantly knew we were in great hands. Korey exceeded all expectations, from his in-depth phone calls leading up to the wedding to his oozing charisma and passion during the reception. He did a fantastic job of engaging with our guests, friends, and family while also allowing everyone to have their moment to shine. His remixes and overlays of songs drove our crowd nuts, and he perfectly captured our 80s, 90s, and early 2000s interests all night long. There was one particular transition between two songs that was the best we've ever heard, and the crowd LOVED it. We’re over a month out from the big day and people are still telling us that it was the most fun wedding they’ve ever been to. Korey was also accommodating with requests and announcements during the reception ensuring dinner ran smoothly before dancing began. “DJ D-Mac was one of the first "wedding day details" we locked in. After my wife and I got engaged, we pretty much immediately dove headfirst into wedding planning. One of the first things we knew is that we wanted to work with a DJ rather than a band. And I knew I wanted to work with DJ D-Mac. The first time I saw D-Mac spin a set was at a friend's wedding in 2014, and I was blown away. At every wedding since then, I've measured other DJs' performances against what I saw (and couldn't stop dancing to) that day. His ability to blend songs, flowing from one crowd pleaser to the next while pairing them in unexpected and delightful ways kept the dancefloor packed and moving all night. Once we'd finished the official wedding business of speeches, toasts, and cake cutting, I ducked my head over to the DJ booth and said, "I don't wanna leave the dancefloor for the next three hours." Unsurprisingly, he delivered exactly what my wife and I -- and all of our guests -- were looking for. Since our wedding in September, the most consistent feedback we've received from wedding guests is how incredible our DJ was and how much fun they had at our reception. Seriously, I wish I'd kept a log of the number of times "y'all's DJ was amazing" or something similar has been said or texted to me. Saroj James Hyoju, got into DJ industry upon walking into Latin club in Dallas, Texas in 2015. Coming from band background, he was surprised to see how people were moved by “Gasolina”, a reggaeton song. Observing how DJ was controlling the crowd’s energy while enjoying himself, this made him curious about club music genres, besides metal and rock. “We used Sam Hill Entertainment to book the band “The Dickens”. This is the part of our wedding everyone is still talking about. They played such a variety that every age was able to enjoy. Not a single person was sitting at the tables while the Dickens were on the stage.
