“It was so easy to work with Exemplar Sound and we enjoyed having Christian as our DJ! We had an older crowd but me and my younger friends were on the dance floor all night and he made sure to keep the party going- even coming out on the floor to dance with us! “I truly cannot recommend them enough. I can confidently brag that we had the best wedding band I’ve ever heard. We saw them perform at another wedding and booked them in between sets they were so good. For ours, we had a 7 piece band perform for the reception and it was so incredible (Motown, funk, oldies, and pop). They brought great energy and the music was amazing. We got so many compliments from our guests. They also did the audio for the ceremony and cocktail hour (just recorded songs, not live) and MC’ed the whole event. It went so smoothly. We filled out an extensive form they have and then met to review the plan for the day. It went off perfectly and flowed so well. Definitely worth asking for Kelley the pianist because he’s also a great singer. My one note is we got a wireless mic for the ceremony and there was a little delay in the audio so it was a little disorienting to speak like there was an echo. It making reading vows a little hard. So I’d recommend either talking to them about that or going with a wired mic, maybe.”

“Matt and Karese have been so helpful through the planning process. From the moment we booked even until after our wedding they made sure we had a great experience. I can go on and on about why you should book them but one thing that stands out more than the rest to me is on the day of our wedding, Matt noticed our crowd liked to be outside rather than inside where he originally had setup. Recognizing that, he asked us if we would be ok (after the formalities finished) if he moved his set outside to better serve our guests. Of course we said yes and it took him 5 minutes to switch locations mid wedding and nobody even noticed because he had music playing on a speaker inside the whole time he moved his stuff.
