In 1830, James and Penelope Barfield Carothers built the original two log rooms of the Cool Springs House located at what is presently the intersection of Mallory Lane and Cool Springs Boulevard. Many years later, the house had major renovations done to it by adding the second story, the downstairs hall, and the front porch. Oaklands Mansion is an historic house museum located in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, United States. Oaklands is on the National Register of Historic Places and is a local landmark known for its unique Italianate design. This historic venue was built in 1885. Features include original hard wood floors, several exposed brick walls, chandelier lit ballroom, and magnolia shaded garden. Couples can choose from an indoor or outdoor ceremony. Couples can plan it all themselves or choose our inclusive wedding packages.

Duck Pond Manor was originally known as the England Mansion. The mansion’s building process began in 1861(according to family stories). The house was finally completed Dec 27, 1867. This 5000 sq ft mansion was built using bricks fired in a kiln right in the farm. The original Apple House still stands behind the mansion.

The Loving is a historically black church renovated into a modern and intimate event space. It also includes access to the bar and a Bartender is provided (alcohol is BYOB.) Includes Bluetooth sound system with microphones. Suite and Groom Quarters are provided and bookings get property access at 8 am to midnight. 2025 pricing is $3500 for a Saturday date and $3000 for a Friday or Sunday date. $2000 Monday-Thursday and Micro weddings (less than 30) start at $1500.

From the stained glass windows to the working bell, we've brought this historic gem back to her former glory. The property where the church is located was purchased in May of 1886 as the First Ave Methodist - Episcopal Church. The bell tower was donated and built in 1888, with a bell brought from a foundry in Boston.
