Located in Decatur, Georgia, just minutes away from Atlanta, the Historic DeKalb Courthouse is the perfect venue for wedding ceremonies, receptions, rehearsal dinners, holiday parties, fund-raisers, bar/bat mitzvahs, reunions, meetings and more. The marble walls and beautifully arched windows are the perfect backdrop for your historic events.

As a facility rental, we provide tables and folding chairs inside, as well as complimentary parking. All outdoor furniture will need to be rented. Catering would be provided through one of our amazing catering companies we partner with and can average $120 to $200 per guest. Beverage service and bartenders are additional and are provided by the History Center. It is about $65 per person for a 4-hour premium full bar. We have a full property minimum on Saturdays of a peak month: April, May, June, September, and October. The facility rental fee for the Swan Gardens, Atlanta History Museum, and Grand Overlook ballroom on a Saturday is $12,500 and we have an additional $5,500 beverage minimum. Fridays and Sundays are $10,000 with a $2,500 beverage minimum. Most of our weddings can expect to spend between $400 to $1,000 per guest after all vendors and costs are added up and divided out per guest.

Ceremonies take place in the scenic gardens, with an intimate beauty spot for that all-important couple's first look. Afterward, you can host a cocktail hour for 150 guests and explore the venue for photo ops with your love. An elegantly appointed tent can be erected on the front driveway, with space for up to 150 guests for a night of dinner and dancing. The indoor space can seat up to 100 friends and family members for more intimate celebrations. Here, surrounded by beautiful artworks, installations, and timeless interiors, you can make lifelong memories from start to finish. Among the amenities at SCAD Ivy Hall are complimentary WiFi, get-ready rooms, a catering kitchen, parking, and wheelchair access. This unique location is also suitable for all pre-wedding parties, such as engagements, showers, and rehearsal dinners.
