The Chair Factory is a wedding venue situated in Gainesville, Georgia. This impressive building was originally built over a century ago and was occupied by the Georgia Chair Factory. This property has since undergone refurbishments while maintaining most of the site's original architectural features. Just one hour North of Atlanta near Amicalola Falls, our little slice of heaven is located at the foothills of the Georgia mountains. In 1977 the Kraft Family broke ground and built the first six cabins by hand without any running water or electricity! Originally known for our romantic honeymoon cabins, we have quickly become a popular destination for group retreats, corporate events, weddings, and receptions.

When I was old enough to pick up a photo album, I fell in love with photography. Not in the way that most people do…. I was obsessed with seeing the past and freezing it, and not with learning how to shoot a fancy camera and equipment. I did not have a real camera until I went to Photography School. All of my birthday and babysitting money was spent on disposable cameras and developing them at Walmart. You know girl paid extra for that one hour photo. I was and still am amazed that you can freeze time for generations to see. It’s more important to me than ever, now that I have two children to show our family history to.
