Born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina, DJ Smartz began learning the art of DJing at 15 as a skating rink DJ. DJ Smartz was a b-boy during his time as a skating rink DJ and through battles with the crew Hypnotik Body Rock he was introduced to turntablism at the age of 17. Smartz bought his first set of turntables at the age of 19 and from there has become one of the most prominent open format DJ's in Charleston and the surrounding areas.

Based in Staten Island, New York, Cause and The Effects is an enthusiastic band comprised of young musical professionals ready to perform at your wedding. The band was founded in 2011 but the versatile members have been playing together and separately for more than two decades. You can choose between a seven-, eight-, or 10-piece band to perform at your reception, while smaller groups can perform during the ceremony and cocktail hour. Zoe has been studying the violin for over 20 years. She then continued her education in Arizona, receiving a Masters of Music Degree in Violin from Northern Arizona University. Zoe was recipient of the Gates-Taylor Award by the NAU School of Music and received the Mary Stewart Allen Award for Violin and Most Outstanding Music Award by the CofC School of the Arts.
