Sophia is the creative force behind Botanical Preserves. Raised in an artistic household, she’s worked with multiple mediums over the years, with five years of experience in floral design. Having a fascination with the realm of plants and their healing powers, Sophia surrounds herself with botanicals and their many elements. The concept of floral design as a living, restorative, art form gave her a deep respect for flowers and their unique personality. It started on a small vegetable farm outside of Seattle. A love of growing vegetables turned into trying my hand at growing flowers. Eventually, a niche was found and I started growing flowers for weddings. Growing flowers turned into a love of making bouquets and designing centerpieces. Along with that, came a love of getting to know the couples I was working with, understanding the vision that they had for their wedding day, and finding the decor that would bring that vision to life.
