Having never been privy to what goes into a wedding reception, I was in the dark about a lot. So, I had difficulty understanding what to choose and how much our choices would cost. If it wasn’t for the close proximity to the church, I may have chosen a different venue for our reception. The food and beverage was the biggest expense and the biggest source of confusion. The real disappointment of the F&B was the limited amount of food. The shrimp appetizer was good. However, there was so little, if you didn’t grab some, it was gone. Of the three entrees to choose from, the only one that was any good was the fish and the portion was less than one would reasonably expect for an entree. The chicken was dry and hard, a huge disappointment. The lemon tart dessert was good. The space itself is very nice. Fortunately, it was just the right size for our reception.

We held our ceremony and reception at Princess Manor and it was wonderful. From the food to the bar, all of our guests were pleased and were calling us afterwards with compliments. We loved the space and the staff was professional from beginning to end. We are happy to recommend them.

Last month we hosted our 125 person wedding at the Wythe Hotel in our local Brooklyn. We could not have asked for a more beautiful city venue or a more helpful team. Our sales director JD and our event coordinator Cassie are such pros-- both veterans of the NYC wedding industry-- and they helped make the day a real breeze. At the Wythe you really get what you pay for. We had a Saturday "off-season" wedding so the F&B minimums were high but easily met with our guest count. Our 395 a head included a premium open bar, multiple signature cocktails, passed hors d'oeuvres, a market station, a plated family style meal, coffee service, a wedding cake, all hospitality staff, coat check, A/V team, and hotel discounts. If we hadn't wanted to add extra florals and decor, the space truly would've been gorgeous bare. The Wythe team helped us manage the rest of our vendors and recommended some if we needed. We stayed onsite in one of their giant suites, which was perfect for getting ready and for first look photos. Cannot recommend this vendor enough!!

The team was incredible and very helpful throughout the whole process, working seamlessly with our vendors and coordinator to make sure we had the most amazing experience. The venue itself is gorgeous and full of potential to make whatever vision you have happen, all of our guests had a blast and our band filled the street below with their music. The views are breathtaking and we would throw a party there every week if we could. An incredible 5 star experience!

From the minute my fiance (now husband!) started looking at wedding venues, we knew we wanted something with a very NYC feel. Tribeca Rooftop was the second venue we looked at and we were sold. We cancelled all our other appointments and signed our contract for a June 2023 wedding. From the beginning of the wedding planning process, Donna was amazing to work with. I asked A LOT of questions and sent A LOT of emails and she always responded in a timely fashion and never made me feel as though I was being annoying (which I'm sure I was being haha). When it was about a month before our wedding, we were handed over to Andrew, who was equally incredible and helpful. On the day of our wedding, we worked with George as our attendant. George was the life of the party, always there to provide us with drinks when we were running low, and will always make sure your lipstick is on and people are where they need to be. George was THE BEST attendant we could have asked for, but I digress... The food: incredible- our cocktail hour was stunning and delicious. SO much food and everyone was raving about how delicious it alll was. The drinks: always flowing and made perfectly! Our bartenders were great and never had people waiting at the bar for their next round. The venue: I mean... STUNNING. Obviously. The staff: amazing! So kind, so helpful, helped really put us at ease throughout the whole process and helped keep our nerves calm on the day of our wedding. Overall: 20/10. We couldn’t have been happier with our choice of The Bogart House as our wedding venue. It was also important to us that the venue was handicap accessible, and The Bogart House made sure that our older family members were taken care of, which we deeply appreciated. I love photographing weddings at Manhatta restaurant in downtown Manhattan. The team at Manhatta couldn't have been more professional, accommodating and friendly! The last couple I photographed at Manhatta had such a great time, which was evident in the joy and love in the photos. The rooms were infused with light and a beautiful warm glow at sunset. The views of the city were breathtaking - the guests were very impressed. There was ample room for the couple of have a band perform and to also dance the night away with all of their family and friends. I highly recommend this venue!

What an amazing venue. Grand but intimate, this venue offers the best of both worlds. It’s old world charm made this the perfect venue for my wife and I to celebrate our wedding. The hospitality team MMEink the runs the venue took care of everything thing for us from start to finish. MMEink took care of all the hospitality and production needs all the way down to the wedding favors which made planning an out of state wedding super easy. We absolutely loved our wedding venue! Our guests couldn't stop complimenting the space, and everything about the venue itself was perfect for our big day. The staff was generally great, and the venue itself exceeded our expectations. However, there were a couple of things that caught us off guard. First, when we went to drop off our decorations the day before the wedding, we were surprised to find large, dramatic Christmas decorations still in the foyer—something we were never informed would be there. Thankfully, the team worked with us to remove them, and by the morning of the wedding, everything was taken care of, which we really appreciated. Second, we were disappointed to find that the venue ran out of rum for our signature drink. We had clearly communicated that rum was a major ingredient, yet they only had two bottles for the entire night, which was nowhere near enough. It seemed like they completely forgot that rum was a key part of our signature cocktail, and it was frustrating to see our guests unable to enjoy it as planned. Lastly, after the wedding, we heard some concerning stories about the way the venue manager and team interacted with our vendors, particularly our wedding planner. Apparently, voices were raised, and things got very heated, with fingers being pointed at faces. It was heartbreaking to hear this, especially because it was completely at odds with the otherwise wonderful experience we had. It felt very unprofessional and left a bad taste in my mouth. Overall, the venue itself was stunning, and the event went off beautifully, but these issues were frustrating and disappointing, especially when considering how much we loved everything else. If you decide to book here, just make sure to keep a close eye on the details and be aware of how the team handles interactions with vendors.

I was your classic "I don't want a wedding" kind of bride and knew the value of a wedding for our families. Hands down, Alex Argenio made it happen. My husband and I can't thank her enough for taking the time to get to genuinely know us over the course of 18+ months, answer every annoying question and truly make our wedding day very unique to us in more ways than one. We worked with an outside caterer and Alex ensured both parties (Moghul Catering and Liberty House) met over a year in advance to confirm logistics would be on point. We also had an intimate ceremony with only 15 guests with the main reception/cocktail hour to happen after. Alex made the large party & small ceremony come to life in parallel - I swear there are two of her. For anyone reading this review, the wedding process is overwhelming, exhausting and hard to balance with everyday life and demanding families. Working with someone like Alex was the best decision we made as a couple because we trusted her implicitly. She is organized, efficient, extremely detail oriented and doesn't miss a beat. I want her to plan my retirement party in 100 years. Thank you Alex for being the realest memory maker & for really listening. We are the lucky ones.

Leonard's Palazzo was the perfect venue for our special day. The communication with their team was perfect and thorough - they responded quickly to all our questions and made sure we had all the details ironed out ahead of time. As a preferred caterer at the Brooklyn Historical Society we work there very often and we love the professionalism of the team. The venue is very well maintained. It features an amazing library with a timeless decor, a beautiful entrance and more. The different spaces are great and can accommodate different event formats. Where do I begin? I had my wedding during COVID, which wasn't easy on anyone. But, still deciding to get married, having it at Premier718, was the best decision we made. Everything went off without a hitch. Jeanette took all the pressure off my back. I gave her my ideas and she bought each one to life. I didn't see anything right until I walked in after the ceremony and when I tell you I was completely in love! The venue is modern, clean, and spacious. Words can't express how grateful and appreciative of the service I received. She took care of the decor, the cake, the food and the alcohol, and I was not disappointed. P.S Can I also mention she did all of this for me in a matter of like 10 days. Which I don't think anyone should do. haha. What I'm trying to say is that I definitely recommend Premier718!!

The team had amazing communication and answered all my many questions with ease. I planned my wedding myself and hired a day of coordinator only because the Ace were so easy to work with. Not only is the space beautiful but the staff are so kind and the food from their restaurant was beyond great. My guests were so happy. I would highly suggest having them handle your cake as well because it’s all made in house and I sent them my inspiration and they knocked it out of the park! Because they handle so much I was able to focus on smaller details and design for the day that made it feel extra special. We got married at the Picnic House in April 2024 and had a great experience! It's a beautiful space that you can do a lot with. We really appreciated both having both the flexibility of choosing amongst a variety of vendors, as well as the assurance that given their experience with the venue that they'd be easy to work with day of (which was true- we had a very smooth wedding day!). We really appreciated working with Caity, who was very responsive over email and quick to pick up the phone. Our only struggle was in acquiring our parking passes (that was really the mail's fault) and in getting some answers early on regarding external alcohol policies. And I would say be very careful in selecting your caterer, since they'll make or break your experience. But overall I would absolutely recommend the Picnic House to anyone! The price really can't be beat for what you're getting.

If you have the opportunity take advantage of the fresh mozzarella station. Beautiful presentation and unique fresh pulled mozzarella. Our wedding was almost 2 months ago and I can’t explain how happy I am that I booked the crescent beach club. My guests still speak about how beautiful our venue was. The food, the drinks, the service and everything was incredible. I was blessed to have stacie as my coordinator. This woman is AMAZING. She put me in sooo much ease. I wasn't worried for a second on the weeks leading up to my wedding. The day of my wedding I was lucky with beautiful weather and all our guests went to enjoy the beautiful happy hour on the beach. I didn’t worry about a single thing on my wedding day. My matrie d’ was wonderful. She made sure to check up on us, she made sure we had food and water at all times and sent us home with A LOT of food. I ABSOLUTELY recommend this place, not just for the location but for the amazing people that work there. Don’t let silly reviews stop you from having the most perfect beach wedding 3 I can’t wait to come back to the restaurants on our wedding anniversary 3

Westbury Manor was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the moment we first spoke with the team, their communication was detailed, professional, and so friendly and welcoming. The grounds were beautifully maintained, providing an incredible backdrop for our wedding photos. Our maitre d', Phil, was incredible. He orchestrated the day perfectly. Our bridal attendant, Claudia, was truly exceptional - we were able to turn off our brains and just enjoy the day thanks to them. Phil and Claudia were a huge reason why our wedding day was so wonderful and we cannot thank them enough. They are masters at their jobs. The food was amazing, and we felt we got great value for our money. We're so grateful to the entire Westbury Manor team for making our special day truly perfect.

This wedding venue is beautiful and has a spacious parking lot which is convenient for Brooklyn. There were so many appetizers and the guests really enjoyed their food. Richie Jr. is THE BEST person you could work with (easy to talk to and knowledgeable) and trust to handle all of the details. For example, we didn’t initially like the cake with the bakery they worked with but they spoke with them to custom-make it to our taste so it was delicious. Plus my husband is gluten free and once we provided the gluten-free bread crumbs, Richie worked with the chef to make some appetizers work for him. The packages were also really reasonably priced and it came with valet parking, doorman, hostess, master of ceremonies, maitre d’, head waiter, etc. They have multiple event rooms (the second floor is also going to be renovated in 2022 but I wish they would take the old red carpeting in the Patrician room - where we were since it is outdated). In the Patrician Room, we did have placement issues with the TV and cold sparkler machines so my advice for the couple is not to have the DJ in the back corner, have them closer to the dais on the right or left hand side so the lights and other tech will be worth it and if the cold sparklers are in the back corner, we can’t take pics with it but if they are in the front they set off the fire alarms so I hope this doesn’t happen with the other event rooms in terms of layout. The ladies restroom/powder room is really nice but the men’s restroom is outdated and painted green so it could use an update. But amazing chandeliers and there is also a small garden by the side area in case people want to go out for some air. Overall, you’ll have a great wedding planning experience and it’s an affordable venue with good food.

GCH was the most amazing venue. I’ve been to a majority of the venues on Long Island but this one took the cake. The food was OUTSTANDING (everyone raves about it), the people (especially Paul) were so unbelievably helpful and amazing. My bridal attendant Nang was WOW. She held my train everywhere while we were walking and fluffed it to help the photographers, she always had water for me and the groom, she carried my lipsticks and had me reapplying, she bustled my dress so easily so we didn’t have to bother my mom, she got mine and my husbands afterparty outfits ready for us so we didn’t have to go upstairs… the list goes on and on. If you want a venue that makes your life super easy leading up to the wedding and the day of the wedding and one that your guests will rave about for literally months this is the place.

We had our wedding at El Caribe on 08/26/2023 and our wedding day was perfect! My wife legitimately cried when she entered the Tiara ballroom. It was the only time she cried the entire day... she didn’t even shed a tear at the church lol. It well more than exceeded our expectations. Cocktail hour was incredible! My wife and I didn’t attend cocktail hour but we were able to see some photos from our guests and it was unbelievable! Cocktail hour included a lobster wall, an oyster shucking station, fresh mozzarella being made fresh in front of your eyes… it was incredible. We wish we had attended our cocktail hour just to view everything in person but we knew that we wouldn’t have been able to enjoy any of the food if we did (as we would have been approached by everyone trying to talk to us and wish us congratulations). Instead we enjoyed all the food being served at the cocktail hour in a separate private room. The staff and service was incredible! Alan was super attentive. He made sure that we stayed hydrated and were able to actually enjoy the food from our cocktail hour and dinner. During our private cocktail hour, Alan dressed my wife in a white tablecloth (so she didn’t spill anything on her dress) and was attending to our every needs. One of my groomsmen’s wives joined us in our private room (she was pregnant and we welcomed her to join us so she could be comfortable) and she commented how awesome and attentive the staff was and how the staff at her venue practically forgot about her wedding (we didn’t ask for her to elaborate lol). Similarly Ashley (the bridal attendant) and George were awesome as well! The MOH was struggling to bustle my wife’s dress and Ashley just took over and bustled it up quickly! I would highly suggest El Caribe for your wedding venue! After attending my wedding my cousin (who experienced El Caribe for the first time at my wedding) booked his wedding at El Caribe shortly afterwards. Also, your cake from Aliotta Pastry Shop is included when you book with El Caribe and the cake was phenomenal.

The venue was extremely nice John was very pleasant to work with from the start. Had transparency no hidden agenda. The food was tasteful and the cost was well worth it. My wedding started 6:30pm and everything was timely and move accordingly open bar 5 hour premium. I would do it all over again.

I am so in love with the Park Savoy and am so incredibly happy that we chose them for our reception! This estate is so timeless, elegant, and classy. The building itself is so naturally beautiful and has so much charm and character. I kept my own decor minimal because the building itself is just so beautiful. The whole staff was so helpful and organized during the planning process. They helped put all my anxieties at ease and allo They truly blew all of my expectations out of the water! Jess was my maitre d and she truly was my lifeline and was just absolutely amazing! Jess made sure everything I wanted to do was done and would tell us when certain events would take place or give us timing updates etc. I literally didn’t have to worry about one thing. I had the best bridal attendants. They had earpieces and were constantly communicating which helped everything run smoothly. I did not worry about one little detail, they got everything correct and helped bring my vision to life! I was so well taken care of, I never pushed in my own chair and the bridal attendants even made sure I was taken care of if I had to go to the bathroom. They took such good care of my parents and husband as well. We all felt like we were the only wedding they ever had and they had one earlier in the day and you would’ve never known! All of my guests have said over and over again how they have NEVER been to a wedding at a place like that. They were blown away by the amount of food at the cocktail hour not to mention how the food was displayed! Several of my friends and family who have attended many weddings and even had weddings themselves, said that Park Savoy was like nothing they had ever seen. One of my bridesmaids said it felt like a movie. Every table had its own waiter and every guest was taken care of with such great service. The whole night ran without any issues and Jess made sure everything was taken care of. The level of service and attention to detail that the whole staff has is honestly so refreshing and I truly felt like I was a celebrity! They know what they are doing and they are truly worth every penny! There is not one thing I would go back and change. I would just love to relive the day over again because it truly goes by so fast! I HIGHLY recommend this venue and would be happy to speak with anyone who is considering as these candid reviews helped me soo much in my booking and planning process. I will say- DO NOT HESITATE!!

If you want a PARTY, book this venue. They have multiple rooms at this venue you can book depending on your headcount. We booked the Majestic Room on the top floor for 75 people. They also have the Swan Room that can fit over 150 people or something like that. The whole second floor was dedicated to our event. Here are some of the features it had that just makes sense functionally: we had a bridal suite that fit our whole bridal party and parents, an elevator since it was on the second floor, a grand staircase, our own bathrooms and bar separate from the downstairs area, a built-in dance floor, and a welcome landing. We had to bring minimal decorations, like centerpieces and such. They provide table settings, everything in the bar, name cards, and table numbers. We suggest finding a vendor for uplighting. Our DJ provided it for us and made the room look amazing. The food is fancy and delicious. In the days that followed our reception, we received compliments about the entrees and passed hors d’oeuvres. They are plated like an inspired high-end restaurant. We had an open bar and everyone was very pleased with the service. TLDR: these people know what they’re doing. The space is BUILT for weddings, not retrofitted, and it shows. The service is WHITE GLOVE and the food will impress your guests. Book this venue!

Don’t overlook the Short Hills Hilton for your wedding! It was the perfect location for our big day, offering a central gathering spot where our guests didn’t have to worry about traveling throughout the day. We explored several traditional venues, but none felt as right as this one. We had a November wedding and didn’t expect to have an outdoor ceremony, but the hotel’s lovely patio space was a wonderful option, and surprisingly, the noise from the JFK Parkway wasn’t an issue. For our indoor ceremony, the venue features a permanent enclosed tent structure. At first glance, it didn’t seem like much, but with the help of the event coordinator Vivian Cohen’s help and coordination with our florist, the space was transformed into something breathtaking. The reception space was spacious and perfect for our 170 guests—large enough for everyone to feel comfortable but not so big that it felt empty. Guests still rave about the food and service! The chef and maître d' truly deserve all the praise. The hors d’oeuvres were diverse and delicious, from sliders to a pasta bar to sushi. We chose the salmon and short ribs for dinner, which we selected during a private tasting session. The hotel grounds, filled with foliage, were perfect for photos, especially as we were lucky to have beautiful fall colors for our shoot. Victoria at the Hilton was incredibly helpful with coordinating room blocks, hotel room gift bags, and storage. Vivian was a dream to work with—she was welcoming, communicative, and made everything run smoothly. Her checklist was a lifesaver for keeping track of details, and she was hands-on with day-of coordination, ensuring everyone knew where they needed to be and helping with the little touches that made everything perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team to help make our wedding day unforgettable!

If you’re looking for a stress free wedding, look no further. I can rave about our wedding forever, our event planner Alessandra Moss helped us every step of the way. Our guests enjoyed the heavenly cocktail hour and were impressed with the professionalism of the staff. Day of coordinator Jennifer was attentive and took care of all my bridal needs. We highly recommend booking Nicotras Ballroom at the Hilton Garden Inn for your wedding venue, we had a lot of guests traveling and it was easy for our guests to stay in the hotel. We shared our first look on the beautiful property, there are endless options for photo ops. We were able to take many photos and video inside and outside the venue. The ceremony took place outside on the Gazebo, it was absolutely stunning, the weather was perfect. Alessandra met with us regularly in person and was easily accessible via email. She walked us through the wedding planning and guided us on the next steps of the process. It was a great relief that the venue took care of a lot of the details, and we used one of their vendors Red Carpet Events for decor/flowers and they were fantastic.
