Our wedding was almost an awful day. Over half of our guests left due to bad weather and simply because they didn’t want to stay after getting their cupcake . It was very frustrating and it changed a lot of our plans. We ended up moving indoors and ending everything early. DeeDee was amazing enough to help us change our send off by letting us use her bubble machine and wands ON THE SPOT. We were so grateful for her flexibility on our day. 10/10 recommend this venue!!

From the moment we first connected with Bethany, her communication was professional, super responsive, and incredibly helpful in making sure every detail of our special day was exactly as we envisioned. The venue itself is a secret beauty, with beautiful water views, gorgeous gardens, and a historic, charming atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the garden to table food prepared by Chef Troy was absolutely delicious. We asked the owner Gary to give a short talk about the history of the property and its mission to support local housing - it added such meaningful context to the experience. The entire staff took wonderful care of us and our guests throughout the wedding, ensuring everything ran seamlessly. We are so grateful to the team at the Old Alcohol Plant Inn for helping make our wedding day a true dream come true.

Had the most beautiful wedding at Wisteria Gardens. As we planned a wedding from 9 hours away Heather made everything so easy. Whether that be doing a walk through with relatives local to the area, text messages and phone calls to answer questions, or sending pictures of decorations they had onsite, she was on it. She always made sure she had our best interest in mind, even on the day of she helped with all the set up and things behind the scenes. Couldn’t have asked for a better host. On top of having a great host, the venue was amazing. We had numerous compliments on how beautiful the event space was. Would recommend this venue to anyone looking for an extremely helpful host to take some of the stress off of you and the most beautiful venue in the Skagit valley.

Fireseed is such a beautiful location and the staff and owners put their all into ensuring you have the smoothest ride, planning and the day of. Everyone kept asking us if wedding planning was stressing us out, I can honestly say Fireseed made it so easy. We only had to book our music, flowers, alcohol, and a couple permits. The rest was all taken care of by Fireseed and their team. I can not recommend it more and knew as soon as I saw the location if I had ties to Whidbey Island I would be getting married there. We had our dream wedding at Briarwood and it was the best decision that we could have made! Jessica was a great communicator and put us at ease as we were a bit nervous planning our wedding. The venue itself is SOOO BEAUTIFUL and has so many areas to play around with. It was difficult to pick only 1 space so we did each part of the wedding in different areas. The large open lawn space was perfect for our ceremony, we had our cocktail hour in the white blossom garden and then our reception in the Wisteria Den. It was all so magical and our guests were so excited about what was coming next. We haven't seen our professional photos yet, but I saw some sneak peeks and the venue is stunning for photos! Our favorite part overall was being able to stay at the cottages from Thursday to Sunday. We were able to load in our decor Thursday which made it so easy and gave us peace of mind that everything was in one location. Waking up on Friday morning and being able to walk around the venue a day before getting married was on of the highlights of the whole weekend. Being able to walk to our cottage at the end of the night after our reception was amazing. We spent the night of our wedding around the fire pit with our closest friends. We had the magical garden wedding of our dreams and I would suggest this venue to anyone and everyone if they are looking for an outdoor venue!

Gleneagle Golf Course was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the very beginning, their communication was very responsive, which helped make the planning process a breeze. The venue itself is in a beautiful area that provided a stunning backdrop for our special day. They made the day easier and a lot less stressful - the in-house catering with an amazing taco bar was a huge hit with our guests, the bartender was fantastic, and the owner's son who DJed did an incredible job. We also loved having the outdoor space that let the kids run off their energy. Overall, the Gleneagle team were wonderful people to work with, and the value was amazing. By holding our October 2024 wedding at Marionfield, we not only had a gorgeous venue; we also had guidance, support, and tips every step of the way from John, Marionfield's wonderful owner. From our first visit, we could tell that John was invested in our wedding succeeding. He gave honest, thoughtful answers to our initial questions. Once we selected Marionfield, John gave helpful advice about layouts, useful pointers about timelines, stellar recommendations for other vendors, and transparent information about the venue and what does and doesn't work well there. John always responded quickly and thoroughly to emails. He was generous with his time, letting me visit once six months before the wedding and again three months beforehand for a walk through with my coordinator. John is warm, caring, and honest. When you book your wedding at Marionfield, you are also securing a dedicated teammate in your wedding planning journey. About the venue itself: Marionfield is gorgeous. The buildings, landscaping, walkways, and furnishings are all in tip-top condition. Marionfield gets the details right -- dimmable lights in the barn, ADA accessibility, comfortable chairs, the spacious bridal suite with a full kitchen. The location is private, secluded, and quiet. The historic barn offers a charming, romantic backdrop. You also get a team of helpful people on your wedding day who make flips of the space happen, see that the water stays full, and that your other vendors are where they need to be. The team worked seamlessly to make our wedding go off without a hitch. The high level of included services (staff who handle chair and table set-up, venue flips, most clean-up) and add-ons available for very reasonable fees (hot cider bar, flatware, plates, glass water goblets) at Marionfield means fewer moving parts and details to keep track of. I could go on and on with positive things about John Olson and Marionfield. My husband and I highly recommend selecting Marionfield for your wedding venue.

We LOVED Woodinville Lavender and working with Tom, the owner. We planned our WA wedding from Southern California and found Woodinville Lavender about 7 months before what would turn out to be our wedding date. The process started by hopping onto a Zoom call with Tom where he showed us so many pictures and examples of weddings past. He provided dates the venue was available and showed us pictures of his lavender farm from that date in years past to show us the most accurate representation of what we would get on our wedding day. He answered all of our questions with ease and we booked without ever visiting the venue, that's how much we trusted him! We were able to meet up with Tom at the venue in person in February where he walked us through the grounds, showed us our possibilities of where ceremony and reception would take place, and assured me (the born and raised Southern Californian) there was a rain plan and what it would entail. Like most brides, I imagined sun on my summer wedding day, but I walked away from that meeting feeling great about the rain plan if we needed to enact it. Tom was incredibly communicative and accommodating. When we were struggling to find certain vendors and his recommended list was out of our budget, he went out of his way to brainstorm some more vendors he worked with that was within our budget and gave us details on how they were when he worked with them in weddings past. Truly, Tom's lengthy experience in the wedding industry is such a bonus to his beautiful venue. It put us at ease throughout the process and day of that he knew what he was doing and that we could trust him fully (which is priceless when it comes to vendors). We also forgot to grab a sentimental item and reached out to him a few weeks after the wedding to see if we happened to have left it at the venue. He found it and shipped it back to us, no charge, no questions asked. In summary, the venue is incredible, but Tom is the best (:

When we visited The Fields at Willie Greens we knew instantly that it was our dream venue. Our experience with Lisa and The Fields at Willie Greens was fantastic from start to finish. In addition to booking the venue for our wedding we utilized Lisa's day of coordinator services and the party elves. Lisa is incredibly detailed and had our day planned out to the minute -she coordinated the arrival of our vendors and made sure everyone was where they needed to be when they needed to be there. When we arrived on our wedding day they had set up the tables and decorations better than I could have ever imagined. Lisa has a wonderful eye and years of experience and lots of fantastic vendor recommendations if you are ever stumped. Every interaction we had with Lisa and her team was nothing but amazing. We received so many compliments about the venue and our wedding from the guests. We could not have been happier and could not recommend the venue or Lisa more. It seems cliche but it really was the wedding of our dreams and it was all thanks to Lisa!

Being in the events industry for over 24 years in the Seattle area, the UW Botanic Gardens was one of the first venues our company worked at and is still the best overall facility we partner with today! The communication and flexibility make the UWBG the most well rounded venue with its indoor and outdoor options, ample parking, supplies available on site and most importantly the kind staff that work there from in the office to the folks who are on site during the events assisting as needed. As a catering company it is refreshing that the UWBG is run by gracious people that have been well trained enough to understand their clients needs as well as what it takes to run an amazing event balancing everything from client & vendor needs, flow of an event, layout... they just get it! They make things easier for everyone, and both corporate and social clients should be very grateful that this centrally located space is available. We LOVED our wedding at IslandWood! I worked on the events team at IslandWood from 2019-2021, before shifting careers completely. All of the guests loved the food, and Jim and his team tackle every request that you throw their way! My husband is Dominican, and Jim made sure that the Dominican food he made was authentic and delicious. At one point, my husband's aunts asked whether a Dominican was working in the kitchen! We had a truly magical wedding aboard the Virginia V this July. Our dream was to start in Lake Union, go through the Ballard Locks and end up at the downtown waterfront and they found a way to make it happen. Alicia and Mark were extremely responsive and accommodating of our requests. Our guests had an amazing time and we were so honored to celebrate with a piece of Seattle history. The Virginia V is a nonprofit and I loved supporting them in preserving the ship rather than paying a corporate wedding venue.

The Ruins is like someone took all the cool bits of Seattle, threw in a dash of vintage Europe, and turned it into a wedding venue. From the get-go, the place just oozes personality. You've got walls with hand-painted murals that could have been lifted from a storybook – I’m talking vibrant colors, whimsical scenes, the works. And antlers. And trees indoors. Each room in The Ruins has its own thing going on. One feels like a swanky 1920s lounge, another like a secret garden. We had space to spare, so people could either kick back in a cozy corner or hit the dance floor without stepping on toes. The décor is this wild combo of eclectic and classic – it's like your great aunt’s house if she had more money than cigarettes and if she collected stuff from around the globe and had a killer eye for design. The library is amazing – shelves lined with books, a fireplace that makes you want to curl up with a novel, and this epic swooning couch. So, I might’ve taken inspiration from George Costanza – yep, I did a topless photo shoot on that couch. It was all in good fun, and the photos are a riot – a keepsake that breaks the mold of typical wedding seriousness, just like The Ruins itself. The food was great (but they let you bring in your own desserts so do so if you wanna save some money). The only, minor issue, is the bridal suite's location. It’s right by the kitchen, so it’s kinda like Grand Central at rush hour with the staff buzzing through. Note to brides: Swap it out for the library. Trust me, it’s much less busy (if darker) and you won’t have the kitchen hustle messing with your pre-walk-down-the-aisle zen. Honestly, The Ruins is the kind of place that’s perfect if you want a wedding that's a bit left of center but still super heartfelt. It’s quirky without trying too hard and intimate without being cramped. The whole day felt like us – not stuffy, just a big, fun, love-filled party. The Ruins has many nooks crammed with curiosities and corners begging for a photo op, it’s a place that feels alive. The mix of odd and elegant, the hand-painted walls that seem to whisper tales, the stuff like the enormous elephant (sadly, only in the back back room so only good for wedding photos not the guests) and the patterned horse and much more all adds up to a vibe that’s as unique as your weird cousin, the cool one, not the other one. The Ruins is like that one weird friend who's always got a story to tell and makes everything more fun. Having our wedding there was like a non-stop highlight reel – even with the bridal suite hiccup. It's a place for good vibes, great times, and amazing photos to start your weirdly ever after.

We loved working with the team at HGI Redmond for our wedding welcome party and farewell brunch. April was incredible to work with from day one - she helped us organize two events in two different spaces that both exceeded our expectations in every way. The welcome party was in the HGI's banquet event space, which is an indoor/outdoor space that includes a patio with fireplaces and heaters. We used the indoor space for dinner, and the outdoor space for drinks and pictures. The patio was the star of the show since it was a nice summer evening. They also have an AV setup for you to play music, a projector for slideshows, and microphones for speeches. Elliott, the event manager, did an incredible job wrangling all of the event needs and making sure everything ran smoothly, and some of the event staff even helped us iron the table linens and bring our floral centerpieces back up to our hotel room after the event. The farewell brunch was in the downstairs library area, which was such a cute and cozy space for our guests to say goodbye in. Both events had excellent food - the HGI's in-house catering was amazing, they were able to accommodate guests with dietary restrictions (vegan, gluten free), and were extremely flexible in handling all our requests and needs. Overall, the staff, food, and event spaces were all amazing and we're so glad we went with HGI Redmond for our wedding events!
