Not only is Brian a great DJ, he's also a talented and personable business owner. He was very attentive to our specific desires for genres to play, and he has a great app platform that allowed us to select specific songs and fill out our preferences for various aspects of his role. This made the process very easy and organized. He also spent time to (last-minute) mix and cut our mismatched procession songs to blend them seamlessly, taking a potentially ugly transition and making it beautiful! Another great advantage to working with Brian is the way he prices. He gives you one price and is available for the entire event. He set up outside for us and allowed us to use his mics and sound equipment for our ceremony at no additional cost. This saved us a lot of money and simplified the planning process for us as he ironed out those details for us. I am so grateful to Brian. “The Hook Club was by far the coolest musicians I was able to find in terms of having an NYC night out vibe, and not a typical "wedding" vibe. We had a bass and guitar duo for our cocktail hour. They were super nice and awesome musicians. It started raining an hour into our cocktails so we had to move inside, and the bassist switched to playing a piano so that we could continue the music inside. Everyone was so impressed by how multi-talented they were!! Loved them and wish we had them play music for more of our reception. Dan, the founder, as well as the rest of their staff were incredibly organized and attentive throughout the planning process. Highly recommend!!”
