Something Borrowed Blooms

4.9

  • Starts at $250
  • Serves Copperhill, TN

Thousands of brides across the United States and Canada have trusted Something Borrowed Blooms to provide the perfect flowers for their wedding day. We offer brides the expensive peonies, delicate ranunculus, out-of-season anemones, and the ever-impossible-to-find-magnolia — all at a fraction of the cost.

The process of using something borrowed blooms was so easy. I loved that the flowers could be reused and that I wasn't going to spend thousands of dollars on flowers that would just be thrown away! They included the return label in the box with the flowers they shipped out, which was great because we did not have a printer at our destination wedding. All of our flowers were fake because I was also worried about the heat wilting our flowers. I only rented bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages and a dog collar- but I wish I had rented my centerpieces as well! Amazing experience with SBB all around!

Jen is incredible and worth every penny! My husband and I weren't very sure about how we wanted our wedding florals to look. We also didn't want to spend thousands of dollars on flowers that would only last a day. We stumbled upon wood flowers and discovered Wood and Word Blooms! Working with Jen was wonderful and seamless. She helps you every step of the way to figure out what you would like. The DIY class was so much fun, and we were able to build all of our centerpieces, boutonnières, and bouquets. Jen also built my cascade bouquet and beautiful garland for us! Everything came out so beautifully and was perfect for our day. Thank you Jen!

As my fiancé and I started the wedding planning process, we joked that our loose theme would be “flowers and love.” We knew we wanted lots of beautiful, lush florals as the primary decor focus, and also knew we didn’t want to spend the many thousands of dollars to achieve that look with a standard florist. If you’re in the same boat, and have an appetite for some DIYing, I’d STRONGLY recommend working with Bloom Culture. After some Googling for DIY wedding florals, I came across Bloom Culture and spoke with Allison for a custom consultation. During the call, Allison helped me express the type of floral look we were going for, and built out a custom floral package that would achieve it. She also laid out the delivery and prep process, and we landed on a final package and timeline for delivery. We received a LARGE box of flowers the week before the wedding and were immediately pleased with the quantity and quality of flowers we had received. Allison’s guide mentioned that some crushed or damaged blooms would be completely normal, but everything was so well packaged we didn’t notice more than a few damaged stems. From there, the DIYing began. Between unpacking, trimming, de-thorning, trimming again, building bouquets, arrangements, boutonnieres, etc, etc, it was a LOT of work. However, we referenced Allison’s guides (written, video tutorials) religiously and they laid out everything perfectly. She strongly recommends having plenty of assistants -- pay attention to this advice! Find a few trusted friends or family members who have time and artistic ability and it will make all the difference in your stress levels. The flowers all lasted beautifully for the wedding and we received so many compliments on how they looked. Allison - thank you for everything!

The Flower Garden Shop

5.0

  • Starts at $1,500
  • Serves Copperhill, TN

Weddings are a celebration of love. As humans, we have a deep, primal need for a “village,” a group of people whom we trust to support us. And where would we be without the love of our family and chosen family? It heals us, brings us together, celebrates our differences, and it allows us to keep going when this big adventure gets scary. So when we get together for a wedding, we get to share that love with those we care about. Just like a painter or a poet, those involved in the planning of a wedding are artists hired to create a scene that reflects the love in the space. We would love to be a part of your team!

Katie makes the most beautiful handmade paper flowers out of book pages! Her work is thoughtful, whimsical and exactly what I needed for a Harry Potter themed styled shoot. I incorporated her work into a bouquet of real flowers and the results were stunning! Nothing but good things to say :)

Rainey Day Bouquets

5.0

  • Serves Copperhill, TN
  • Offer

As I prepare for my own wedding in April of next year, I was taken aback by the exorbitant costs associated with floral arrangements. Quotes ranging from $6,000 to $7,000, with a minimum commitment of $4,000, were simply unfeasible for me. This led me to explore alternative solutions, and I discovered a passion for creating my own florals. I was delighted to find that I had a knack for it! This experience sparked the idea to launch my faux floral rental business, driven by the belief that beautiful wedding florals shouldn't come with an astronomical price tag. My goal is to make stunning arrangements accessible to all.

Rainey Day bouquets exceeded my expectations in every way! The arrangements were stunningly beautiful and so realistic, my guests couldn't believe they weren't fresh flowers. Morgan's attention to detail and personalized touch made every piece feel truly special. Her passion and dedication to her craft shine through in every aspect of her business. I'm so grateful to have found her for my wedding day!

Kit was amazing to work with every step of the way. She sent previews and asked for input, but honestly she could wing it herself and I would have been over the moon with her creations! I asked for a custom alter piece and she did not disappoint! I had several people ask if they were real, and I proudly said they were silk!!!

Thistle and Vine

5.0

  • Starts at $1,500
  • Serves Copperhill, TN for additional fees

Opened in 2016, Thistle & Vine has became a staple in the small rural town of Ider, Alabama. We have done weddings for both locals as well as out of towners who dropped in to have a destination wedding! We thrive on creativity and love when a Bride brings us unique ideas!

I have purchased and ordered several things from Thistle and Vine over the years, and have NEVER been disappointed. I just knew they would be the perfect choice for my wedding florist and I was right. Right from the start they understood my vision and the finished product was all I could have ever wanted. I had my fairytale wedding and a lot of that had to do with the beautiful work that Thistle and Vine did. From the colors to all the special touches that I requested they did it all perfectly. I had asked them to incorporate some feathers that were special to me as well as a necklace that held my grandfathers ashes. They incorporated the feathers not only in my bouquet, but throughout the reception florals as well! The necklace they wrapped around my bouquet and it just made my bouquet that much more spectacular! My wedding flowers were just as meaningful as they was beautiful. Once again I am so grateful that I choose thistle and vine. I will continue to use them for all my future florist needs.

I want your wedding or special event to feel elevated, intentional , and totally you. Our designs are unique, bespoke, and will form the backdrop of memories to last a lifetime. I invite you into the creative process by getting to know you, your relationship, and your inspirations. Whatever your vision, I want to make it a reality.

Elizabeth & Leigh were amazing as our florist and wedding designer! We had a few bumps in the road figuring out our design early on, but once Morgan understood my vision, it exceeded all expectations. She provided a few vision boards to help build out what I was looking for, which was extremely helpful prior to the wedding day. The final execution was spot on. The flowers were stunning and the overall design was just beautiful. Morgan has such an eye for detail, and her creativity is unmatched. On the big day, everything looked even better than we imagined and we received so many compliments from our guests.
