While my teacher would conduct the class I would be interested in the images so I could make more of a connection. I was also dubbed the "family photographer" whenever there was a family function. I am more of a non-traditional photographer, meaning, I enjoy control candid photos vs traditional posing photos.

I shoot in a modern and timeless style that features creative angles and clean edits. My hobby in photography started young admiring my grandfather’s portrait work. Following in his footsteps my mother and father also covered our walls with their own family portraits. As I got older my interest in photography grew and the hobby turned into a passion. We started very small with very little. We had to learn about building a brand and how hard it is to start out on your own. We made some mistakes and learned from them. During my first year we had one wedding client. Every year we grew a bit more and found our story and in that helped to learn to tell our clients stories.

From the first moment my grandfather placed a Sony Cybershot in my hands at age 13, I knew the magic of capturing life's most profound and intimate moments was meant for me. Now, after nearly 24 years behind the lens, what began as a childhood hobby has become everything to me. Photography is my passion. As a third generation photographer, it's in my blood! My grandfather opened a photography studio in Chicopee during the 1940's. Growing up, I spent hours looking at family photos, studying the faces of friends and loved ones. I read the hand written notes on the back of the pictures and I was taken back to the exact moment the photograph was taken. Even if the picture was snapped long before my birth, I could feel the emotion from that time. Photographs were and continue to be an absolute treasure in my household.
