Our motto is “we respect sugar” because we are able to create desserts from scratch using less sugar and replacing them with more natural gourmet spices. I'm Leah, the creator and baker behind Somethin' Extra Sweet! I have always loved to bake and share my sweet treats with friends and family! In the summer of 2019, I decided to take the plunge and create a baking business after being nudged by everyone who has tried one of my treats...they knew they were too good to keep under wraps! After playing around with many names I landed on Somethin' Extra Sweet because my sweet treats always have a little somethin' extra to make them special!

Mike’s Gelato was started by Mike Mullinix in 2016. Mike spent a semester in Italy during college, and he fell in love with Italian culture and cuisine. After finishing college in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in business management with an emphasis on entrepreneurship, he searched for a new business venture to pursue. While a lot of gelaterias use premade mixes to cut cost and time, here at Mike’s gelato we take our time and pride into every scoop. We love what we do and our only goal is to bring you the best possible product anyway we can!

Servicing all of Connecticut, CakeSpell Delightful Baking is a concierge bakery located in Waterbury, CT. CakeSpell is your baker and cake decorator. Whether you or your guest prefer an array of dietary options, such as gluten-free or vegan options, or would like to incorporate a cultural recipe such as plum pudding as a tribute to your grandmother; we can accommodate you without sacrificing the visual appeal of your wedding day. We work closely with each client, providing our undivided attention to bring your dreams to reality.

We are the alternative or complimentary to that wedding cake. We offer chocolate fountains, candy stations, s'mores stations, dessert tables, donut walls, Nespresso and more. We do not make cakes. I am a third generation chocolaholic. My mother eats Hershey's syrup with a spoon from the fridge and at 89 ALWAYS has chocolate ice cream at the top of her shopping list.
