I have spent over 20 years in gourmet kitchens across the world. When I came to Texas in 2009 I fell in love with Southern cuisine. After many years in luxury hotels across DFW, in 2016 I created Tex-Med cuisine (modern Mediterranean with a Texan twist) which combines the food of my homeland with the flavors of Texas. My wife, Stephanie, and I opened Ferah Tex-Med Kitchen in 2019 and began offering catering services shortly after.

Pokey O's opened in 2006 in University Park, Texas. Many Dallasites have great memories at our store from first dates to visits with their families. Our specialty is the "Pokey O", a custom-made ice cream sandwich made with our soft, delicious cookies and Texas's favorite ice cream, Blue Bell. Emporium Pies started out as a dream shared by Megan Wilkes and Mary Sparks. Megan was in the interior design industry and Mary was studying hospitality management when the two were introduced by a friend that knew both women had dreams of owning their own business. The young women realized that Dallas could use a bakery that created a product from scratch, by hand that also focused on a community environment, providing seating both indoors and outdoors with the invitation to stay a while.
