Our Spring is lush and green (last weekend of April thru mid-July). Summer is generally temperate (late July to August), and in Fall, the colors are eye-catching (September thru mid-November). Weddings are not scheduled from the last week in November through mid-April, but we are open for tours and visits throughout the year. Founded in 1927, the garden encompasses 86 acres nestled in the San Gabriel Mountain foothills in the city of Claremont. he garden is an oasis a world away from our SoCal bustle. Birds and other wildlife call the garden home year-round. You'll find natural vistas, and a delightful intersection of structures and permanent and temporary artworks. All of this is set against masterfully designed nature-scapes designed to display California's wild and wonderful array of plant communities.
