Wedding events can take place at the following St. Joseph County Parks: St. Patrick's County Park, Ferrettie/Baugo Creek County Park, and Bendix Woods County Park Red Barn Package: St. Patrick's Farm is a historic barn built in 1925. Before becoming an event space, this barn was a dairy barn on St. Patrick’s Farm. The inside has been renovated, but the original barn doors, windows, and silos remain. The Pfeil Pavilion – a large, open-air shelter behind the Red Barn, is included. This space is perfect for your wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, or even outdoor games. The Goodhew Gazebo is just a few steps away and is a popular spot to exchange vows. Other popular venues at St. Patrick's County Park include the Fragomeni Shelter, Covered Bridge/Grape Arbor, and/or the Manion Cabin. The Glenn Bauer Shelter and the STUDEBAKER trees at Bendix Woods County Park are popular for wedding ceremonies. Baugo Station at Ferrettie/Baugo Creek County Park is also a great option.

Paper Mill on the Landing is a new event center on the 3rd floor of the historic Fisher Brothers Paper Co. building on the Landing in downtown Fort Wayne! Built in 1893, the former city hall of Fort Wayne is a beautiful example of Richardsonian Romanesque architecture. As a museum and a historic building, the History Center has a unique character of its own for you and your guests to explore. Travel through time and learn about the history of Allen County and Fort Wayne through the museum’s fascinating exhibits. The History Center has three rooms available to rent, making it the perfect location for any event. The Shields Room is the centerpiece of the museum. It is the former City Council Chamber and Courtroom. Its features include golden oak paneling, a grand chandelier, large windows with expansive city views, and the restored 22-foot ceiling decorated in rich colors and 24kt gold-leaf stencils. You and your guests may ascend the Grand Staircase or use the elevator to reach the room’s second floor entrance. Two smaller rooms, the Board Room and the Orientation Room, are also available to accommodate small gatherings.

The Hopewell Barn is located about 1/2 mile south of the historic Hopewell Church. Built in 1872 and purchased by Deb in 2018, the church is listed on National Historic Register for its ties to Gene Stratton Porter. Gene was a famous author in the early 1900’s and the area of ‘Hopewell’ was used as the locale for the settings for several of her books. The name ‘Rustic Barn at Hopewell’ was selected to pay tribute to historic roots of the Hopewell area.
