Hi. I’m Josh. Our work is based in Washington, DC, often in San Francisco and we’re happy to travel. The best photographs are simple, unobtrusive, and spontaneous. Memory fills in the gaps - this is how authentic photography captivates us. We've always sought to remember things exactly how they happened - how we felt. The goal is to unobtrusively document your day through artful frames. I'm a firm believer there is no single best photographer anywhere in the world - but there are artist the align with your vision. Please look us up on Google (Joshua Fernandez Photography) and see how past clients describe their experience with us. :)

Awarded Best of Zola
Highly recommend!! Josh has been photographing my husband and me, and now our children since 2015 when he took engagement photos for us. Josh has an incredible talent for framing photos and capturing light; his photos are stunning. He is easy to work with and a wonderful, kind person as well. He is great with kids and patient when they need a little extra time or direction during the shoot. We’ve been having our family photos taken by Josh every fall since 2018, a tradition we look forward to each year. Josh was there when our family started and we’re so happy to continue our relationship each year as our kids grow.

  • Starts at $2,790

Hi, I'm Candace and I have a thing for weddings! I didn't start as a wedding photographer, I actually started as a BIRTH photographer surprisingly! I was addicted to capturing real and raw moments for families to have and relive over and over. I actually was nervous for weddings, which is why I didn't start doing them. One thing led to another and as people started asking me if I WOULD shoot their wedding, I decided to give it a try. Fast-forward to dozens and dozens of weddings later and I am obsessed!! I am a full fledged wedding photographer and I LOVE capturing every single moment of your day. The addiction is real!!

Awarded Best of Zola
I can’t express how lucky we are to have found Candace! We learned of her through a friend while on the hunt for a wedding photographer. After looking through her work, we decided to submit a request for proposal - even her questionnaire perfectly portrayed her fun, bubbly personality! From the very beginning, I was very impressed by her attention to detail. She really thinks of everything and asks all the right questions to capture your vision. Whether you know exactly what you want and how to describe it, or have no idea and need someone to guide you through every pose and hand placement - Candace is your girl! She’ll take direction, or give direction all with a smile on her face. Over the past two and a half years Candace has shot our engagement photos, my professional headshots, family portraits for my sister-in-law, our wedding, and most recently our maternity photos! Each time has been a fantastic experience. She makes the whole photo shoot relaxing and fun, which then results in the most beautiful photos! You know you’re going to get some great shots when she says, “This is going to sound weird, but trust me.” And I truly do. We were initially just looking for a wedding photographer, but instead found an incredible talent and fun, genuine person who we hope to have in our lives for a very long time. Hire Candace and you’ll find yourself not only an amazing new photographer, but also a new friend.

I am a Portland native through and through! My love for photography rivals only my love of traveling. My interest in photography began at a young age, thanks to my Uncle and 8th grade math teacher. After over 18 years of experience, I have mastered the art of putting my clients at ease and creating an environment for them to be present and most importantly be themselves. I have a deep passion for not only the images I create but for the people I work with. I truly consider it an honor to be a part of someone’s wedding day and the images we create together become reflective memories for the couple, not just snapshots in time.

Cambrae was very easy and fun to work with. She is very professional and good at communicating. The photos are so amazing and the prices are totally reasonable. Highly recommend!

Rebecca is a master example of building strong client relationships, vibe-setting, and of course, capturing your most important moments in a way that feels special and unique to you. We were introduced to Rebecca through our wedding planner. From the beginning, she stood out among the other photographers that were recommended for us. We chose Rebecca because of her broad range of photography techniques and because her vibe aligned with ours--we didn't want the stiff, very portrait-esque look for our wedding photos. From the start (when we did our engagement photos in Central Park with her) to the end, Rebecca really seemed to want to get to know us. She had us pull inspiration of photos that we liked and emulated that same energy into the photos we took. She prioritized making us feel comfortable and enjoying ourselves during our engagement photoshoot, and that continued on the day of our wedding. There is truly not enough space here for us to say all the nice things about Rebecca that we want to. We would work with her again in a heartbeat. Hire her, without hesitation--you will not regret it.

Sokol & Co Photo

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $4,000
  • Serves Clearlake Park, CA for additional fees

Here's what you should know: First, it's pronounced Sokol like 'vocal'. We're Polish... like kraut-and-pierogi-at-every-family-gathering-Polish. Second, we're a husband and wife wedding photography duo that believes it's the little things that make the story come to life. From the knowing glances across a crowded room to the hand squeezes when you're about to walk down the aisle, you can trust us to capture your most romantic, candid moments.

Sokol & Co Photo was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding day! From our very first interaction, Savannah was organized, considerate, and prompt in her communication, making the planning process much easier for us. I didn’t have a wedding coordinator, so having Savannah be as organized as she was was SO important. On the day of, she was fun and put us at ease in front of the camera (even my husband who isn’t crazy about photos). The quality of her work is incredible - Savannah has an amazing eye and is so creative! She captured all of our desired shots and so many unique, special moments that I wouldn’t have thought of. Sokol & Co Photo is worth every penny, and we are thrilled to have such perfect photos of our wedding day that we'll cherish forever!

Adam Griffin Photo

  • Serves Clearlake Park, CA for additional fees

I’m Adam—a Boston native who’s now roaming around California photographing everything I see. When I’m not behind the camera you can usually find me in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes, sipping a dirty martini with friends, jamming to Taylor Swift in the car, or taking my rescue pup Ollie to the park or on long neighborhood walks. I got my first film camera when I was 8, and it was love at first sight. Capturing your story is more than just a job for me. From destination elopements to parties of the century, I've seen it all and love every minute of a wedding day.

Awarded Best of Zola
My husband and I were beyond lucky to have Adam as our wedding photographer this past September. Not only did he give us the gift of the most beautiful photos I've ever seen, but he was also such a joy to be around. He makes you feel comfortable during the whole experience and even played me a Taylor Swift themed playlist during our engagement photos!! What more could I ask for!! I will forever recommend Adam to everyone I know. He's truly is the best out there!

Arie T. Photography, LLC

  • Serves Clearlake Park, CA for additional fees

Welcome to Arie T. Photography, a black queer woman-owned and operated traveling portrait and wedding photography service based out of the Georgia and Michigan! I've had the honor of capturing all walks of life across the USA with hopes of taking it worldwide. I'm known for my use of natural light, and "unposed” stress-free approach when it comes to my clients. If you feel like you’re awkward in front of the camera, I’ll take that as a challenge to prove you wrong because I can be awkward too.

Awarded Best of Zola
One of the best wedding decisions we made was booking Arie's photography services. Arie's energy, professionalism, and eye for detail are truly unmatched! Staying in constant communication with us from the day we booked, the regular check-ins were extremely helpful and reassuring in the chaos of wedding planning. By the time we met in person it felt like we had known Arie for years. On our wedding day she brought a calm and upbeat energy which made her a joy to have in the bridal and groom suites while we prepped for the ceremony. During our very lively reception Arie seemed to be everywhere at once, capturing every detail we asked for and so many more. The way Arie seamlessly moved throughout the events prompted our guests to ask if she worked for the venue! She came extremely prepared, was extremely professional, and it showed. Arie is truly an artist who not only took and produced beautiful photos, but managed to capture our vibe. We are so grateful to have found Arie and will DEFINITELY be booking services for our future events!

Thalia Moshtagh Photography

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,000
  • Serves Clearlake Park, CA for additional fees

Hello! I’m so excited for the chance to work with you. I’m a former teacher who has always had a passion for photography. I started working freelance in 2015 and did a lot of my first jobs in the music industry. I shot Warped Tour a few times and even had one of my promos featured by AP magazine. I quickly realized I loved working with couples the most, and now focus on couple and family portraits and weddings!

Awarded Best of Zola
Thalia saved our wedding. We had to change photographers very last minute and were super worried about hiring someone new. Then we found Thalia and from the moment we had our first intro call with her we had a feeling that everything was going to work out. She was so professional, during our first call she was very well organized and clear about what she would need from us. She took her time to make sure we were a great match and to understand our vision. She was personable and kind, speaking with her felt like talking to a friend right away. She was considerate, during all parts of the wedding she made sure to give us time alone together and we never felt rushed. Even still she constantly captured the most breath taking photos. Lastly she was so much fun! Our guests loved her and thought she had the most wonderful energy. She directed us very well. Looking over the pictures I’ve never felt so beautiful. She even brought her own props to go with our theme for the pictures. A vintage camera and tray. Everything she did was so thoughtful. I wish we could have another wedding just to have her photograph it. You will not regret working with Thalia. We feel so incredibly lucky to have gotten the opportunity.

Your earth loving, sun chasing Oregon elopement photographer. My work is ever evolving but my intention is always the same: to capture the essence of who you are and create timeless photographs that will always take you back to your incredible day.

The second I got engaged I knew who I wanted my wedding photographer to be. Mia is an incredibly talented artist, and I was so excited to work with her. She made my husband and I feel so comfortable through the whole process. I had very specific shots that I wanted to get on our wedding day, and she made every single one happen, as well as offering us other suggestions. Hey there! Since you are trusting me to capture these special moments in your life, I figured you should probably know a bit about me, right? I am a Huntsville, Alabama native, but moved to Nashville after graduating from the University of Alabama in 2013. ROLL TIDE! Although I consider Nashville home, I am anything but a homebody. I love traveling and exploring new places (especially the food at those places!). I even studied abroad in Italy, which let me tell you, was a food lover's dream. I have always felt like an old soul trapped in a millennial’s body. I would rather listen to Frank Sinatra than anything on the radio today.

Diana is amazing! She captured my wedding day perfectly and was a joy to work with! She is very organized and helped the day go smoothly as well as making us feel comfortable in front of the camera.

Venture Ever After

4.9

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $4,400
  • Serves Clearlake Park, CA for additional fees

My name is Nadia. I specialize in elopements + intimate weddings in the Pacific Northwest. I help people in love have the wedding of their dreams in magical outdoor spaces. When you choose to elope, you’re choosing to get married free of society’s wedding day expectations. So go wild! Spend the entire day in your favorite place, with your favorite person. Wear a fancy outfit, or wear your hiking boots. Invite your dog instead of your mom’s second cousin. Share your first kiss under the stars instead of under an altar. In the great outdoors, you write the wedding rules. And I’m here to help make it an experience you’ll remember for a lifetime.

Awarded Best of Zola
When we began looking for a photographer for our micro-wedding, we gravitated towards Nadia’s images over and over again. Not only did they capture raw, intimate moments between couples and families, but they elevated those moments in elegant and natural landscapes of the PNW; everything we wanted. We reached out and set up a consultation call immediately. We were initially nervous and felt very unprepared to speak with photographers because we had zero ideas for what our special day would look like, but after our call with Nadia we were confident that Venture Ever After was the right choice for us. She was so knowledgeable and did a TON of legwork planning our timeline to best capture the moments we wanted in the lighting we needed, recommending a variety of locations for some private moments as a couple and group activities with our family, and keeping us grounded and calm throughout the entire process. On our wedding day, Nadia took the reigns and gently guided us through the day with compassion and grace. She constantly reminded us that each moment was for us and encouraged us to revel in all of the details. She even conquered some pretty crazy heights armed with multiple cameras and a walky-talky to capture some dramatic and beautiful couple’s portraits. Beyond being an incredible photographer, Nadia is one of the most genuine and kind people I’ve met. She has a knack for keeping elopement/wedding day energy light and helping her clients feel natural in front of the camera. My partner and I truly felt like models. I feel so blessed to have our wedding photographed by her and, above all, be able to call her a friend. I would recommend Nadia at Venture Ever After to everyone planning an elopement, wedding, or adventure in the PNW. In fact, I hope to be able to visit her and capture anniversaries and momentous occasions for our family long into the future.
