Located at 3687 Briarcliff Road NE, Atlanta, this incredible home is a great venue for a movie or TV set or special events. While the interior of the property doesn’t reflect the layout of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, it does contain a few replicas. There is an Oval Office, with a desk similar to the President and a replica of Lincoln’s bedroom, with a copy of the Emancipation Proclamation on the wall. However, there are some major differences, including a large swimming pool at the back of the property.

246’s reimagined direction marks a new era for the Decatur gem that pays homage to the old-school, Italian dining scenes of yesteryear through a new menu and a revamped ambiance that has evolved backwards through the decades to evoke the classic comforts of the Italian-American restaurant culture’s spirited beginnings. Nestled on 39 acres of mature hardwoods, the Cator Woolford Gardens are situated on one of the few remaining intact historic estates in Metropolitan Atlanta and are located just a few miles from the heart of downtown. The Gardens were originally created for Cator Woolford, one of the principal founders of Retail Credit Company (now Equifax, Inc.), and were redesigned in 1996 as a series of outdoor "rooms." Changing with the seasons, the gardens and forest are filled with dogwoods, roses, narcissi, rhododendrons, laurels, daffodils, and azaleas, some of which are original to the estate.

Since 1994 we've been a family-owned business. My parents owned and operated a uniform and linen factory that is still in operation today. In 2001, they opened a linen rental business in downtown Chamblee that serviced the most prestigious clients in the Atlanta area. From Turner Field to Bacchanalia we learned the ins and outs of being hospitable to the hospitality industry. In 2016, we sold the business, and in 2017 we renamed the space to Factory Atlanta. We want to work with people who have a vision for their project, their big day, or their milestone event.

The Golden Door Event Hall is conveniently located outside the city of Atlanta off of Interstate 20. The ballroom can hold a maximum of 150 guests banquet style. The ballrooms are a blank canvas so you can decorate to your liking with no restrictions. We offer both ceremony and reception space.

As a facility rental, we provide tables and folding chairs inside, as well as complimentary parking. All outdoor furniture will need to be rented. Beverage service and bartenders are additional and are provided by the History Center. It is about $65 per person for a 4-hour premium full bar. We have a full property minimum on Saturdays of a peak month: April, May, June, September, and October. The facility rental fee for the Swan Gardens, Atlanta History Museum, and Grand Overlook ballroom on a Saturday is $12,500 and we have an additional $5,500 beverage minimum. Fridays and Sundays are $10,000 with a $2,500 beverage minimum. Most of our weddings can expect to spend between $400 to $1,000 per guest after all vendors and costs are added up and divided out per guest.
