If you’ve had a good time at a wedding or event in the DC/Maryland/VA area, chances are it was DJ Casanova that got you moving. You know him as DJ Casanova, but around the office, we just call him Jamie. Back in the day, he was just a child of immigrants recording his favorite songs over his parent’s cassette tapes (sorry Mom and Dad) so he could listen to them on his prized Walkman. Jamie entered the DJ field in 2009, and before long he was spinning something at a different party every week. Because Jill is also a professional musician, she is made constantly aware of all genres of music, by engaging with the public 7 days a week. Michael is an active musician, composer and teacher who resides near Washington, D.C. He has performed as a soloist and with various musical ensembles throughout the United States, Europe, Japan, North Africa, South America, and the Middle East. He has also been featured on various radio and t.v. programs around the world. He has served as Vice President of the Dayton Classical Guitar Society as well as Vice President of the Washington Guitar Society.

I have been a singer/musician for more than 25 years playing Latin and International music in clubs, hotels, etc. I have theatre experience at the Kennedy Center, Shakespeare Theatre, Arena Stage and Gala Theatre.

Formed in the Washington area, Veronneau quickly gained widespread recognition for their live shows – the recognition became international with the release of their debut album Joie de Vivre – Joy of Living, released in 2011. The album went to #9 in the Jazzweek World Music chart and had extensive radio play throughout the US and Europe, leading to shows in the UK, where the band performed live on BBC Radio, and in Canada. La Mer,the 1930’s French song from the album, has become a major hit on internet radio and Youtube where it has garnered over 30,000 views.

Amaretto, the best wedding top 40 dance band, brings the excitement of an authentic club band to the intimacy of a private event. The group has been featured at major venues in Washington, DC, Baltimore, New York, Richmond, Nashville, and Chicago. Aaron is a high end DJ who has worked all over the DC and Northern Virginia area. He began to DJ in 1995, performing at countless clubs and bars in Atlanta to help support his music career as a bass player. Aaron’s love of music began in high school playing bass in jazz band.

A native to the Washington DC suburbs, his musical palate is as eclectic as the community that he proudly calls home. His sets range anything from Top 40 and House to Latin Dance & Hip-Hop. In his words, “it’s all about getting the perfect reaction. There’s nothing better than dropping the perfect track at the perfect time to not only watch but feel the joyful excitement of whoever’s on your dance floor. It doesn’t matter if I’m playing at a nightclub, a local bar or a private wedding; there’s no better ‘high’ and it never gets old.

Cristian Perez’s quintet (which consists of guitar, bass, drums, flute and bandoneon) is a hybrid group melding elements of a chamber ensemble, a jazz combo, and a world music band. It features some of Cristian’s original compositions and arrangements as well as various cover songs. Exploring sounds from around the world with the subtlety of classical music and the freedom of Jazz, this group’s relentless quest for beauty takes the listener on a journey with no boundaries.

Cristian has performed with many of the best musicians in the Washington DC area (i.e.: Victor Provost, Joe McCarthy, John Kocur, Emmanuel Trifilio, etc.) and played at some of the top venues in the Metropolitan area, such as Blues Alley, Kennedy Center Millennium Stage, Bohemian Caverns, Bethesda Blues & Jazz Supper Club, and Twins Jazz. Cristian has performed in Canada and Dominican Republic, and in 2011, he performed as part of the GMU Jazz Ensemble in Shanghai and Beijing. Recently, Cristian has toured Bolivia and Korea.

Grant Kuhnsman, who performs as DJ ARIA, is a critically acclaimed, award-winning DJ from Washington, DC. He began creating mixtapes and curating his music collection at a young age. By his teenage years, he was introduced to the turntable and learned how to beatmatch by ear with vinyl. Since then he has sharpened his skills and proven himself as a bona fide Open Format DJ that has performed at numerous venues across DC, Maryland, and Virginia (The DMV) logging over 500 wedding receptions, corporate events and private parties in his career.

Amaris Trio is a wedding classical music ensemble operating out of Reston, Virginia.
