Hello! My name is Allie and I’m the sole owner of The Hangry Lady. I have a 2 year A.S Degree towards dietetics and a Culinary Degree from Kirkwood Community College. After graduating I went on to be Chef de Cuisine at Caucho for 2 years, during this time I was named one of the ‘40 women to watch’ by the Iowa Restaurant Association. I then went on to be Executive Chef at Popoli for almost 1 year before closing due to Covid. This is when I decided to take a chance on myself and opened up the business I had always dreamed of. Our mission is to serve colorful, creative and delicious food, with high quality service to our customers.

After my wife and I experienced the hunt of a lifetime for the perfect venue with flexibility and a memorable Bar service for 100+ guests, our dream was born. We provide weddings and events with mouthwatering barbecue and an expanded menu to provide more options for our clients. We specialize in classic American barbecue, signature smoked meats, and other delicious dishes. From casual gatherings to large receptions, we work to give all couples and guests a fabulous experience. We will schedule a private tasting with you and your partner, where you can decide which entrees and sides best suit your palate. We handle delivery, setup, and cleanup during your wedding day while you focus on what's important. Our full-service buffet will make sure you and your guests have a satisfying reception.

Peach came to life when we were on the hunt for a unique bar service to provide drinks and an unrepeated esthetic to our wedding reception. Without much luck finding exactly what we were looking for, we decided to do it ourselves! with over 20 years combined in the event industry we will be sure to make your party a blast!

Tuck-ins are a roastable, Inside-Out S’more on a stick, each containing a crunchy handmade graham cracker, covered in decadent chocolate, all inside a fluffy marshmallow! Tuck-ins® are available in Classic, Cookies & Cream, and Peanut Butter! Tuck-ins can be given out as favors with guests roasting them at home over a gas or electric stove. You can even have your own roasting station at your event with TerraFlame Fire Bowls available through Tuck-ins!

Since 1995, China Moon has bartended for dive bars, house parties, underground events, celebrity bashes, and fine dining establishments in NYC and the Midwest. She’s an old soul with a heart for gardening, reading, music, dancing, animals, and, when it’s safe again, putting her passport back in the rotation. She holds a degree in Hotel & Restaurant business management, was the Private Dining & Event Manager at The Edgewater Hotel from 2016-to 2018, and is a member of the Beta Beta Psi chapter of Phi Theta Kappa. China Moon is an eager reader (and dotes on Stephen King and Dean Koontz novels.) She loves aged Brugal Rum on the rocks with lime.
