I found my love for photography in a high school dark room, and I have continued to follow that passion to find myself today working as a hybrid photographer in both Film and Digital. My approach is a mixture of fine art and documentary, I try to capture your moments and day as it happened but highlighting the special details and taking advantage of the best lighting. I shot my first wedding in 2004, and from that moment on, I was hooked! It's an honor to witness and capture such an important moment in the lives of my couples. Before specializing in weddings, I focused on fine art and night photography. I earned a BFA degree in studio art from the University of Notre Dame (Go Irish!), and a MFA degree in imaging arts/photography from Rochester Institute of Technology. I taught black and white, digital, alternative process and studio photography at the high school, university and adult education levels. I love both the planned events and the unintentional, quiet moments that make a wedding unique!
