Mountain School Events provides you full freedom to choose the caterers, photographers, musicians, or florist that perfectly match your mood and taste or we have preferred vendors that will make your day special. Vintage, industrial, and green spaces at the Old Woolen Mill create endless possibilities for parties, concerts, business meetings, weddings and more. Once the heart of this Victorian era clothing factory, the Weaver’s Room and it's 3 adjoining suites are the keystone of an ongoing renovation project at the Old Woolen Mill that pushes forward into the twenty-first century. Over the past fifteen years, the Room has hosted a wide array of events from formal dinners to proms to countless weddings and receptions, as well as parties, showers, and reoccurring group meetings. Whatever the occasion, the Old Woolen Mill's 4-room industrial complex offers groups large and small a district event location with its brick exterior walls and exposed wooden rafters.

The original home, built in 1934, was added on in 2006, is the perfect blend of farmhouse design & natural elegance. The original coal-burning double-sided fireplace stands in the center of the room, with the original well in the kitchen. 160-year old barn beams were converted into fireplace mantels. The main reception wall has 120-year old reclaimed hardwood on both sides of the fireplace. Wimpy Farms is a family farm venue located in the beautiful north Georgia mountains of Dahlonega Georgia. One of the main focal points is our Old Covered Bridge which has been a wedding site for many sweet couples over the years. We have enjoyed letting people get married, do photo shoots, and host events on our farm for years and decided that it was finally time to incorporate this fun aspect of our lives into the rest of our family businesses!
