Our wedding at Seven Ponds Farm was absolutely spectacular! The farm in the summer was beautiful and lush and made for a perfect backdrop for our wedding weekend. Staying onsite was such a treat and made the weekend extra special. The farmhouse and Virginia queen were so comfortable made us feel like we were right at home while being right in the middle of all the action. The venue itself was the perfect blend of rustic charm and elegance, with a scenic ceremony spot and a cozy reception barn. We loved being able to add our own DIY aspects to make it personalized to us as a couple. The staff was so lovely and helped us complete our vision seamlessly. Our family and friends are still raving about the venues, the amazing food (mushroom risotto!), the personalization and just how perfect everything was. Staff all around is the best staff you can ask for. Chef Dave, I will never stop craving his tenderloin! He truly has a passion of making the best food for each wedding. Our guest still text me about all his food. Brittany was amazing. I had last minute changes out of my control and she always found the best way to make things work! Tim the Banquet manager was always around ready to make sure it all ran smoothly. Ryan the lift operations manager kept Brittany updated on the weather day of and when it didn’t look good at the bottom he drove up to make sure he truly had say no to us going to the summit (it was 30 degrees with 45 kt winds) he and his crew opened the lift for 2 hours the next day so we could still get our summit pictures and they all had smiles on their faces. Truly every staff member had an impact in making our day more than we could of dreamed for! Overall, Hunter Mountain Resort provided an exceptional experience and incredible value, and I would highly recommend them to any couple planning their wedding

My team and I have had the great pleasure of working at Full Moon Resort since 2011! This resort is such an outstanding venue for weddings and events! As a wedding professional myself, I have always had such a sense of ease working here. Their staff has always been helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable, and they continue to offer this consistency year after year. I am never left worrying about who may or may not be working at each event that we are a part of. So many venues have a constant revolving door of employees, it can be very stressful not only for couples getting married when that happens, but also for the vendors. There is never any of that stress at this venue. In addition to the highly experienced staff who work here, the venue itself is absolutely gorgeous, climate-controlled, with clean and spacious restrooms, and kept immaculately clean, which is impressive when many area venues are more rustic. I also always appreciate that there is a solid ceremony plan in place, no matter what the weather decides to do. As a florist, I really like the fact that this venue is a total "blank slate," so when it comes to wedding decor, couples are never limited with their design selections. This venue also has stunning grounds for some of the prettiest wedding photos! Seriously, even off-peak times of the year such as March and April are still stunning here, with their beautiful birch trees, and moss and lichen-covered rocks. If you are a couple looking for an ideal wedding venue, look no further than Full Moon Resort! P.S. Photo Courtesy of https://perennialimage.com/

My wedding experience at Birch Hill was incredible, and I owe so much of that to Serena and her amazing team! We started the booking process in early March, hoping for a September/October wedding date, and thankfully found one that worked. Serena was an absolute goddess from start to finish—she gave us a thorough tour of all the location options, answered every question, and made the entire process feel effortless. We knew almost immediately that no other venue would compare! Since we were on a tight timeline, I reached out to Serena frequently with questions, and she always responded promptly and thoroughly. By our 90-day planning meeting, we were already so comfortable with everything, and Serena guided us seamlessly through food choices (of which there were so many!) and other details. Her expertise really shone through when I wasn’t sure about certain things; she made it all so simple and stress-free. On the big day, I felt so confident in Serena and her team—it was like everything was taken care of before I could even think about it. I truly felt like I had nothing to worry about and could be fully present in every moment, which made the day even more magical. They thought of every detail, big and small, allowing me to simply enjoy and soak it all in. Speaking of the food—it was hands down the best meal I’ve ever had! We chose the Cocktail Style package and went with a wide range of options, including crispy calamari with lemon-garlic aioli, French onion soup, cider bacon-wrapped chicken, pulled pork wonton bites, and mini grilled cheeses with tomato soup shooters, among others. Every single bite was phenomenal! The prime rib was cooked to perfection, and the mashed potato bar and pasta station were crowd favorites. Our guests raved about the gourmet French fry station that we had later in the night. While we handpicked the items, I genuinely believe that anything else on their menu would have been just as amazing—the quality and flavors were out of this world. At the end of the night, everything was packed up perfectly and already in my car before I even stopped partying! If I had to give any constructive feedback, it would be about the bridal suite. It was a very warm day for late September, and the air conditioning hadn’t been turned on before we arrived, so the suite was quite hot initially. Other than that, our ceremony by the pond was absolutely beautiful. While the mosquitos and some goose droppings were a minor annoyance, the setting was otherwise perfect and so romantic. All in all, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Serena’s commitment and attention to detail made our wedding truly unforgettable!
