Justin handled all of the audio for our wedding ceremony and has an amazing wireless, battery-operated set-up so there is no need to rely on a generator, which was great since we were outdoors on top of a mountain! He had a mic on the lapel of the groom and our officiant so that I, as the bride, did not have to worry about wearing one and between the two mics all of the ceremony audio (speech, vows, etc) was picked up flawlessly. At the reception, Justin had an awesome set up that looked super clean and modern but also had fun lighting to get the party going. He was an excellent MC for all of our big announcements and could perfectly read the crowd to keep the dance energy up. His wife, Lesley, was also wonderful as the photo booth attendant. I knew we would get copies of all the photos taken, but coming home with all the photos arranged in a guestbook signed by our guests was a nice touch! Highly recommend, they are a dream team.”

They provided the string duo for our ceremony, the guitarist during cocktail hour, and a 7 piece band including a male and female singer. Our guests even commented how good the guitarist was during cocktail hour! The singers (male singer-Philip is the band manager) and the female singer sounded amazing live! The band and the DJ during the band breaks kept the energy alive all night. “We loved working with the Music Man DJ Service leading up to and for our wedding on 10/12/24. The inquiry call was so thorough and helpful to start our planning process. Booking, pricing, and the planning tools were very clear and up front. The planning portal was SO helpful for those feeling overwhelmed by all the wedding decisions. We worked with DJ Shawn C and we cannot say enough good things about him. Our venue had a power outage day of and we had to completely pivot and change the day. He had a positive, calm attitude and rolled with the punches. We had to move to a new location after the ceremony and he did it seamlessly and quickly. We also had to completely change timing and order of our reception, and again he was able to touch base with us quickly and made it happen flawlessly. Our dance floor was packed and everyone had a blast. DJ Shawn truly helped the day come together, and we are thrilled he was our DJ. Can't recommend him enough!”

His band Wild Faith played for my wedding reception just last weekend and they sounded great. When I first started talking with Leo about his availability he was prompt in his communication and also offered to learn new song material beyond his already extensive set list. This was what really made Leo an exceptional value to us. His offer of learning special songs for us, attention to detail, timeliness in communication as well as showing up on time at our cold and rainy outdoor ceremony site were what he delivered. His band sounded great and he also nailed everyone of our requested songs. In my opinion Leo and his band were ultimately a great fit for us. His value in comparison to other bands I spoke with was unsurpassed. It's a shame that far to often when the term wedding comes up in the hiring process, bands and other vendors seem to charge more for no other reason than the simple fact that they chose to do so. “The Hook Club was by far the coolest musicians I was able to find in terms of having an NYC night out vibe, and not a typical "wedding" vibe. We had a bass and guitar duo for our cocktail hour. They were super nice and awesome musicians. It started raining an hour into our cocktails so we had to move inside, and the bassist switched to playing a piano so that we could continue the music inside. Everyone was so impressed by how multi-talented they were!! Loved them and wish we had them play music for more of our reception. Dan, the founder, as well as the rest of their staff were incredibly organized and attentive throughout the planning process. Highly recommend!!”

From preplanning meetings to the wedding day, Mitch was extremely on top of everything to ensure our wedding day ran smoothly. When we had our live acoustic guitarist back out somewhat suddenly, we reached out to Mitch for references. To our surprise, he offered us an even better idea to have him play sax and a friend play guitar at the ceremony.
