The building is a historical landmark for the City of New Albany, and was saved from destruction by the Bliss Family in 2000. The Bliss family’s vision in reviving this 1900’s building was to keep its historical integrity, while providing a practical, unique, and seamless flowing space for Weddings and Events. It truly is a “one stop shop” where clients can book their Wedding Rehearsal, Rehearsal Dinner, Ceremony, and Reception. Our mission is to provide you with everything you need to make your event effortless and unforgettable.

Historic Locust Grove is a National Historic Landmark as well as an accredited museum on the Lewis & Clark National Historic Trail and a unique example of early Kentucky architecture, craftsmanship, and history. The Blanford House is an elegant wedding and event venue located just outside of Bowling Green, KY and is the perfect location for your wedding day. The former schoolhouse now features lodging and dining areas while the auditorium now serves as your wedding and reception area. This beautiful house now not only has the perfect event space, but also boasts six spacious guest rooms each with a private bathroom making the immersive Blanford House experience unparalleled.

The Tucker Homestead is a beautiful historic home with history and elegance dating back to 1910. The setting is on a large farm that is surrounded by rolling hills and knob land. From the house, to the beautiful log cabin located adjacent to the house, large mature trees, landscaped grounds, the spacious patio with a fireplace makes a perfect setting and backdrop for your special day. An additional house is provided for the bride and her bridesmaids to have their hair and makeup done. The bride then comes to the Homestead house to get into her dress for first looks and photos. The groomsmen have a beautiful Log cabin to get ready in and await the time. There are different packages to accommodate your wedding guest list. Caron Tucker, the owner is on the grounds at all times to make sure your day is stress free and to make sure everything goes smoothly.
