Prior to our wedding we had a lengthy call with Sean; my husband and I were very picky with our wedding playlist and had a rule of absolutely no traditional wedding reception songs or line-dances. We love electronic dance music (EDM) and wanted our wedding to be "festival/show vibes". We pretty much curated our own playlist of EDM, country, hip-hop, folk and I really wasn't sure how our guests would respond (and we really didn't care because it was our wedding), but the way Sean mixed and transitioned the songs and hyped up the dance floor kept the vibes going all night! We used Summit Events for our up lighting too - highly recommend as it was a great way to turn the room from a classy dinner reception to a dance party in one click! The sound quality was great for both speeches and music; we wanted to make sure guests could hear speeches clearly and we had no issues at all even though it was a large room. I also appreciated the Vibo app that we used to plan out our ceremony, entrances, first dances and our playlist for the night - it was a great tool that kept songs and notes in one place. We got a level 3 DJ and let me say, totally worth it. Shout out to DJ Jordan, who kept the dancefloor going, who had transitions so smooth that butter is jealous of him, who rocked cocktail hour, and had a 6th sense for reading the room. “Our coordinator at Wyndridge Farms recommended we book Baltimore Event Solutions and specifically request "Korey with a K." After just a few minutes of viewing the photos and videos of gigs he had posted on his Facebook page we knew he was our guy. He reaffirmed this decision during our intro call when the first thing he said to us was, "Just know on your wedding day, I've got you." We instantly knew we were in great hands. Korey exceeded all expectations, from his in-depth phone calls leading up to the wedding to his oozing charisma and passion during the reception. “DJ D-Mac was one of the first "wedding day details" we locked in. After my wife and I got engaged, we pretty much immediately dove headfirst into wedding planning. One of the first things we knew is that we wanted to work with a DJ rather than a band. And I knew I wanted to work with DJ D-Mac. The first time I saw D-Mac spin a set was at a friend's wedding in 2014, and I was blown away. At every wedding since then, I've measured other DJs' performances against what I saw (and couldn't stop dancing to) that day. His ability to blend songs, flowing from one crowd pleaser to the next while pairing them in unexpected and delightful ways kept the dancefloor packed and moving all night. Once we'd finished the official wedding business of speeches, toasts, and cake cutting, I ducked my head over to the DJ booth and said, "I don't wanna leave the dancefloor for the next three hours." Unsurprisingly, he delivered exactly what my wife and I -- and all of our guests -- were looking for. Since our wedding in September, the most consistent feedback we've received from wedding guests is how incredible our DJ was and how much fun they had at our reception. Seriously, I wish I'd kept a log of the number of times "y'all's DJ was amazing" or something similar has been said or texted to me. “We used Sam Hill Entertainment to book the band “The Dickens”. This is the part of our wedding everyone is still talking about. They played such a variety that every age was able to enjoy. Not a single person was sitting at the tables while the Dickens were on the stage.
