The House Then Designed by Daniel Riggs Huntington, a well respected Seattle architect, this replica of George Washington's beloved Mount Vernon home was built in 1925. Employed as the City of Seattle architect from 1912 until 1921, Huntington also designed the Fremont library branch, the Lake Union Steam Plant, several fire stations and the Washington Street Boat Landing. While the Chapter House was "purpose built" as a meeting place, the membership always intended their hospitality to extend to the community in the form of a venue for private, public and non-profit events. The House Now Located on the northwest slope of Capitol Hill in the historic Harvard-Belmont Landmark District, we continue the mission of our visionary founders by offering our house for events ranging from weddings to corporate meetings, memorial services to auctions, baptisms to retirement parties.

Our King County Designated Historic Landmark farm sits on 18.1 acres on the north side slope of the Happy Valley 2 miles east of Redmond on SR 202. Established in 1907 by Walter Cooper, the uncle of the famous actor Gary Cooper, the dairy farm operated for 60 years before switching to beef cattle in the late 60s. The farmstead encompasses a gambrel-roofed hay barn built in 1925, followed by a grain silo and milk barn built in 1953.

You can have an indoor ceremony for lovely reception space within the Mansion's main living room and formal dining room. The second floor offers rooms for your party to prepare on your special day. You can also choose to have your ceremony on the front lawn in front of the grand entrance with side doric columns. For smaller weddings or those on a budget, we offer rental of our adjacent Coach House with maple hardwood floors and built in buffet counter. It also offers a full kitchen for any catering requirements, as well as a thorough sound system. For smaller ceremonies, the Greenlake studio, at 1,000 square feet, is equally suitable. This venue has two smaller rooms which can be used as “getting-ready rooms” and a warm, inviting lobby. Inside the studio, you can find an impressive wall of mirrors. The MV Skansonia is Seattle’s premier waterfront venue. The Kirkland Woman's Club is located across from Kirkland City Hall in their original historic building. In its early days, the building also housed the original Kirkland Library and a Baby Wellness Clinic. It is listed on the State of Washington Historical Register and the National Registry of Historic Places, as well as the King County Historic Preservation Program. In addition to providing a gracious setting for our various Club activities, the facility is available to rent for such functions as wedding receptions, memorial services, or recurring business meetings. It accommodates up to 99 guests, and features a concert-sized Steinway grand piano, perfect for music recitals or receptions.

The Fremont Foundry is a versatile event venue located in the heart of the charming Fremont neighborhood. A former working metal foundry and artist commune custom built by local artist Peter Bevis, the Fremont Foundry is where some of Seattle’s most iconic art such as the Jimi Hendrix statue was created. Fremont Abbey is our main venue at 43rd & Fremont Avenue North in Seattle. The 1914 building was reopened in 2008 after undergoing major renovations including seismic, design, environment & visual improvements. As of 2023, we have installed a brand new HVAC system with air filtration and air-conditioning to our main upstairs hall. Now a beautiful & welcoming multi-use venue with a warm vintage style, the Abbey welcomes up to 250 people for events of many varieties including nonprofit galas, private weddings, receptions, parties, meetings, workshops, classes and more. We view weddings as an artistic, creative, community-celebrated gathering centered around the love and commitment of two people. Nestled amongst thirty tranquil acres of our lush wooded private property, The Emerald Forest provides a stunning backdrop for a strikingly serene and cherished micro-wedding or elopement. We are just four miles east of downtown Redmond and fifteen miles east of downtown Seattle. Within the forest is the Emerald Forest Theater, built-in 2018 by Treehouse Master Pete Nelson. The Theater is a one-of-a-kind outdoor climb-in movie theater made up of a large seating area 15' off the ground, four box seat open-air pods, two "Kodama zome" elevating loungers (tree-levators!), two stories of hammock-like dream nets high in the trees, and projection onto the 16' screen hanging in the trees. The forest of hemlocks, cedars, and fir trees within a gorgeous carpet of green moss is truly one of the most beautiful forests in the world (or so we have been told dozens of times!).
