We’ve been fortunate to DJ at company parties, live concerts, private house parties, and more. But weddings are particularly dear to us. I am a christian, that much should be obvious. I am a product of the hip hop culture, but I’ve always loved music even before I gave my life to CHRIST. When I first entered into relationship with GOD thru CHRIST there weren’t a lot godly examples in hip hop music. This has changed over the last 10 – 15 years. This shift has drawn me back to my culture and has awaken my interest in DJing. I have been spinning for 7+ years, and I never stop learning. I love playing in front of people, and there is nothing like that energy.

With a father who loves Miles Davis and a mother who adores Smokey Robinson, Cecily grew up surrounded by the music in her parents vast record collection, and was captivated by the works of Minnie Riperton, Gil Scott-Heron, Anita Baker, and Phyllis Hyman. After college, Cecily looked to these rich, soulful sounds from her childhood, and channeled them into her own music. Known for her sweet soprano, honest lyrics and pure vocals, Cecily brings her own vulnerability to each song, telling her story, and hopes that, at the end, the audience feels vulnerable enough to tell their own stories.

Now based in Washington DC, Eli has been traveling the globe for two decades and weaving his experiences into fresh folk anthems of personal empowerment, natural awareness, and finding one’s place in the world.Rooted in the Americana tradition, Eli’s influences range from the flamenco progressions of Andalusia, Spain, enchanting minor chords from Israel and the Middle East, and powerful melodies from the southwestern United States. His songwriting showcases authentic lyrics and an honest style that comes straight from the heart and welcomes the listener to participate in the music.

Critics have compared Eric’s “singing to that of Michael Bublé or Harry Connick,” notes Donald Clarke, author of The Penguin Encyclopedia of Popular Music. “But worthy as those gentlemen are, I find Eric Felton Orchestra’s singing more charming, more personal, more intimate, as though one of your best buddies could sing. He is a crooner with style.”

The Wave is the ultimate variety dance and party band and, as their name suggests, with a contemporary edge! Brandon, the main male lead singer, competed on NBC’s The Voice and got three of the four judges to turn their chairs around, which were Adam Levine, Miley Cyrus, and Jennifer Hudson! Bridget, the female lead singer, performed several times with John Legend on ABC’s Duets. She also toured internationally and sang in the film, The Sin Seer.

Benjamin played at the Hampton University Graduation where President Obama was the guest speaker. He has played at several venues in the Hampton, Virginia area to include the Hampton Coliseum. Benjamin returned to the Washington, DC area to continue his musical career. Currently, Benjamin plays the cello at various venues around the Washington metropolitan area to include Chinatown, Georgetown, Eastern Market, and Dupont Circle. He is a cellist with the Sanctified Symphony Orchestra; and the Cellist in the musical, the Cortical Titanic.

Tiffany Rose is blessed to come from a gifted musical family. Her mother, Gail Shanta, is an accomplished harpist and has been playing in the DC area for over 30 years. Tiffany grew up playing for special occasions with Gail, and they add that special charm to an event, as a mother/daughter duo. In addition, Tiffany’s sister, Katie Shanta, is an accomplished violinist with a music degree from George Mason University. Tiffany and Katie have performed together for many weddings, as well as with their mother as a trio. The Shanta Family at its best!

Cristian began taking piano lessons at the age of 5, but did not find his true passion until he picked up the guitar in his mid-teens after being inspired by rock groups from Argentina. Self-taught on guitar, he gravitated towards classical guitar after moving to the U.S. in 2002. Encouraged to pursue music by his high school teacher Ken Hall, Cristian met Paraguayan guitarist extraordinaire Berta Rojas, under whom he studied privately for two years.

Amaris Trio is a wedding classical music ensemble operating out of Reston, Virginia. Consisting of Shearom on violin, Ryan on cello, and Stephanie on piano, this award-winning trio brings over a decade of performance experience to every occasion. Professional and faith-driven, they are available to provide beautiful music for celebrations across Northern Virginia, DC, and the surrounding areas.
