“I can not say enough good things about Vecoma at the Yellow River! The grounds are beautiful all year round - we got married in December of 2023 and were able to take pictures outside. I had my heart set on an outdoor ceremony. Unfortunately it rained and we couldn’t be down by the water, BUT because Vecoma has an outdoor covered deck we had the perfect compromise and didn’t have to be inside. You can tell that the staff has been in the business for a long time and their goal is to make bride and groom happy. Caroline worked hard to make sure the wedding day photography timeline met what we wanted, and also slotted us enough time. Another added bonus is that most of the decor you’d need is available from the venue (linens, charger plates, chairs) so that takes A LOT of hassle out of planning. I would absolutely recommend Vecoma at the Yellow River for anyone who wants a beautiful venue and an easy planning experience convenient to the Atlanta area.”

“We got married at The Chapel on Sycamore in April and it was everything that we had hoped for! The chapel itself is gorgeous with the dark wood interior and stained glass, and the outdoor space in the spring was perfect for everything from photos to cocktail hour gathering. We had 200 guests and the space was accommodating. Lisa was with us to coordinate our day from the very start and was incredibly prepared, responsive, timely, and helpful in answering my many questions throughout the planning process. She met me at the Chapel to visit multiple times to look at the space as I was planning the event. We used Oakhurst Market, a preferred caterer, for our food and got many compliments (and loved the food ourselves!). We loved the location in Decatur near restaurants and bars for our guests and the ease of travel and proximity to the city and it was easy to book parking for our guests nearby with Lisa's assistance. I would highly recommend The Chapel on Sycamore as an excellent wedding/event venue with lovely and helpful staff. The pictures included are by OliviaRosePhotography.”
