Bloom Lake Barn is a freshly renovated wedding and event venue located in Shafer, Minnesota near the gorgeous St. Croix River. Set in the picturesque St. Croix valley, Bloom Lake Barn provides that "out of the way" country charm a short 40-mile drive from the Twin Cities. The wooden barn is enormous and contains vaulted ceilings and gorgeous chandelier and cafe lighting. The lower level of the barn is another unique space containing rustic beams and high-top tables built from original stanchions. The courtyard includes a Pavillion, bonfire pit, lawn games, and a walking trail through the woods

Not only has our mother influenced our enthusiasm for hosting events, her master gardening skills are a base to our esthetic here at Sunflower Hill. Her creativity and spirit have rubbed off on us kids and we want to share our love for events and gardens at Sunflower Hill. Our fathers know how and farming expertise have also influenced our approach to our venue. Not only do we continually add to the gardens here and try to make them better, we strive to make the fields just as beautiful.

Just 30 minutes north of the Twin Cities, you'll enjoy a spacious, well-shaded outdoor seating area for the ceremony. Willow Tree winery is a small boutique style winery located just north of the Twin Cities in Ham Lake, Minnesota. Established in 2003 by Jim and Barb Szurek, what started out as a retirement hobby soon became a family business. Jim and Barb operate the winery with help from their son and his family as well as many friends who have pitched in along the way.
