Magnolia's is nestled in the rolling hills of the historic Hobart Village. There is no beauty quite like Northern Michigan! You will find timeless charm in our 120 year old barn. The barn has a dance floor, rustic bar area and can hold up to 115 guests. Whether it's a wedding, family reunion or open house, we've got you covered. We provide tables and chairs for up to 200 guests along with various decor items such as centerpieces, signage and furniture. If you have more than than 115 guests, a rental tent is recommended. Our goal is to make your day unique, seamless and manicured to your vision. We love working with couples and are open to exploring any ideas you may have!

Their communication and easy-going personalities made the whole process so much fun! The venue is BEAUTIFUL. It's perfectly laid out for a one stop shop. I had my ceremony, pictures, dinner and reception all on site. There are SO MANY good spots to take pictures, the bar area is ridiculously perfect and charming, and the barn is so rustic and beautiful. I have too many good things to say about my experience. I loved it so much that I can't wait to start planning my vow renewal ceremony so I can do it all over again and without a doubt have it at Magnolia's at Hobart!”

“I would highly recommend Thousand Oaks for future brides. The coordinators are very organized and attentive and the packages are clear in their descriptions. However, being part of a larger entity, there is no wiggle room for negotiation. For example, we wanted to substitute Riesling instead of moscato. We couldn’t make that switch, but they did offer the Riesling at a consumption rate. That is our only complaint. The food, the cleanliness and appearance of the venue, and the staff were all excellent.”

We no longer manage our Zola site, please reach us on our website. Basic pricing: $3,200 for Saturday, $2,900 for Friday, and $4,200 for Friday & Saturday rental. We have 2 barns, one for the ceremony and the other for receptions. On-site bathrooms, dressing rooms, firepit area as well as an outside bar. All tables and chairs are provided as well as wood high back chairs for head table. We also offer many rental items for decoration, centerpieces etc. We are not vendor picky, you pick all of your own vendors. We do require a licensed bartender to serve all alcohol and we also require a one day special event insurance. 130 person capacity.
