The House Then Designed by Daniel Riggs Huntington, a well respected Seattle architect, this replica of George Washington's beloved Mount Vernon home was built in 1925. Employed as the City of Seattle architect from 1912 until 1921, Huntington also designed the Fremont library branch, the Lake Union Steam Plant, several fire stations and the Washington Street Boat Landing. While the Chapter House was "purpose built" as a meeting place, the membership always intended their hospitality to extend to the community in the form of a venue for private, public and non-profit events. There is an indoor space for an intimate ceremony or an outdoor ceremony site and an additional indoor/outdoor space for cocktail hour which has a bar inside of it. Crockett Farm is a historic, 11-acre farm from 1895 and features amazing water views from the ceremony site as well as sweeping territorial vistas. The large barn, complete with original timbers, is the perfect place to accommodate your Whidbey Island wedding and reception for up to 200 guests. On-site guest house available (for an additional fee), sleeps up to 12 guests.
