Mae Designs is named after my late grandmother who had a passion for flowers. Every year on my birthday she would present me with a rose from her garden. I actually hold a business degree in Human Resource Management but went to work part time in a floral shop after being a stay at home mom for eight years. My love for the wedding industry started there and I currently have seven years of wedding floral experience. A fun fact...I still go back and work part time in the shop that gave me my start. I am extremely passionate about my profession and look forward to getting to know all my potential clients.

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

BouqYard by Theresa Green offers professionally designed floral for Weddings, Rehearsal Dinners, Bridesmaids Luncheons, Showers and Bridal Teas, throughout the Southeast, primarily in Alabama and Tennessee. Theresa, beginning at age 19, has over 30 years experience in floral design, working with brides from all around the South and grooms as far away as Switzerland. Her designs have been featured on the Front Cover of Southern Bride Magazine. Theresa has done her magic in a wide range of venues, from Belle Meade's equestrian venue, to the beach, the mountains, historic locations and museums, you name it.

The idea of this business came from the day I began planning my wedding... I am one of the most picky and indecisive people, ever. So when I began looking for my decor and could not find anything that I 1. did not want to change or 2. was not over priced, I thought it was just related to some of my more unattractive traits 😅 However, it did not take me long to come up with this brilliant idea of helping others get EXACTLY what they want for an AFFORDABLE price. 💡 My goal is to help everyone bring their idea of perfect to life! 🎉
