“We hired Scarlet Oak Studio for our engagement shoot and wedding. I can’t say enough great things. They are professional, timely, talented, communicative, efficient and FUN! We loved working with Tanner to set up the package details and Elli as our main photographer. Our wedding was on top of a mountain in a blizzard with multiple lodges inside and outside for events. Elli and her team handled everything perfectly and knew how to pivot with the weather. We had a large wedding party and extensive photo list and even with a shortened time frame, Elli and the team were able to knock out all the photos. We were very happy with our engagement photos and can’t wait to see the wedding pics. I am still getting compliments from our engagement shoot almost a year later — people were obsessed. My husband despises photos and after the engagement shoot, he said, “Well that was worth the money.” I was shocked. His pricing and what we would get was super clear, and then of course his portfolio was amazing too, so it was an easy yes. But then we actually worked with him. WOW. Cory exceeded all expectations for both our engagement and wedding photos. He was able to capture both sweet shots and the very fun, particular vibe we were going for with our summer camp wedding. Everyone at the wedding commented on how outgoing and fun Cory was; He blended in like "a guest with a really nice camera" which led to some wonderful candid shots. He also helped us organize our shot schedule to capture everything we were looking for, even coming up with some creative solutions to sneak in shots with just the two of us (we didn't want to miss too much of the summer camp activities!). On the administrative side, Cory was quick to respond to questions and gave us clear and accurate timelines for turnaround on the final photos. My husband (then fiancé) and I were searching for a wedding photographer in the Cleveland area when we stumbled upon Drzazga Photo. Best thing to happen to us!! Early on in my planning I knew my wedding aesthetic was going to be boho rustic and I wanted a photographer who would be able to capture it well. We found that in Carly, and honestly, she can make any wedding style look fantastic in her photos!! If you haven’t checked out her work, DO IT ASAP! Not only are the photos she takes beautiful, but Carly’s eye for angles and poses is astounding. She’s incredibly talented and SUPER sweet. Both my husband and I are uncomfortable in front of the camera, but when working with Carly, she made us feel super comfortable and being photographed by her was actually fun. She’s also available at a really great price. While searching for photographers with similar style and quality, we found most of them were way out of our price range. Now that she has an associate team, you can get the same quality for even a bit cheaper! I didn’t work with the associate team, so I can’t speak to how they interact with their clients, but if you can, don’t skimp on having Carly shoot for you, I promise you won’t regret it! She not only gives you great quality for a great value, but she even includes an engagement photoshoot! (Although complimentary, the photos we got blew us out of the water and also got us really excited to see what she would be able to do at our wedding!) Spoiler alert: she crushed it! We are floored by how good the wedding photos turned out and we haven’t got the whole gallery back yet!! Also, Carly is SO incredibly accommodating! She drove all the way from Cleveland to Columbus just to do our engagement photos because it was more convenient for us!!! Her dedication to her clients is UNRIVALED! I can’t say enough good things about Carly and the team at Drzazga photo!! I’m just so happy we were able to snag her before she booked up!! (She’s a hot commodity, so if you’re even remotely considering her, book her or you might miss out on her magic!) “Malachi made our elopement absolutely awesome! He was recommended to us by a photographer friend, and when we met with him online and found out he was a bird person just like us, we knew he was perfect to photograph us. His work obviously speaks for itself; look through any of his photos online and you'll see he is a master of his craft. The other aspects of an adventure wedding with Malachi are that he makes you feel comfortable, can find beautiful locations to take you, and has every piece of gear you may need available in his truck and all you need to do is get married! We met Malachi 2 weeks before our spontaneous elopement. We wanted to catch the aspens while they were still yellow so we had to move quickly and he was up for the challenge! He scouted out various locations that we might be interested in (aspens, lakes, mountain overlooks, etc.) and we narrowed down the sites we would visit 1 week before. With that said, definitely go with the full-day elopement option! It reduces stress because you don't need to stay on a tight schedule and allows you to visit a few locations for photos. We didn't really have any specific requests for our elopement besides seeing the aspens and gorgeous nature so Malachi just offered up some great ideas and we went with those. He made the whole process super simple and stress-free for 2 very indecisive people. The day of our elopement we had some rainy weather that would make hiking less than ideal because clouds would block some mountain views. He showed up at our lodge and offered to rearrange our order of locations so that we could still catch some clear skies. It was nice to not worry about sticking to a schedule and just do what worked for us. Malachi brought one of his super fun birds on the trip too!!! The trail we hiked up to our ceremony was perfect. It was a beautiful forest with aspen glens that we got changed in, and only saw 2 people right when we parked. The rest of the day, we had the trail all to ourselves. Malachi took photos throughout the hike, and during and after our little ceremony. He did a wonderful job of directing 2 awkward and dorky people so that we looked natural and happy and less-than-awkward in all our photos. The photos turned out beautifully! Everything about the day was perfect. It was stress-free, fun, and the pictures captured our love for each other. Malachi was an amazing photographer/elopement planner for 2 easy-going people so we definitely recommend him for your adventure!”

A true adventure junkie. As soon as I see a photo of a beautiful landscape, I'm ready to roll. I've traveled to 26 states, visited 14 National Parks, and have lived in 6 states! For 25 years of life, I say I'm doing pretty good with the whole 'experience' aspect. Along the way I've managed to accumulate 4 amazing pets. A Pitty, German Shepherd, Great Pyrenees, and a REALLY cute cat. On a normal day, you can find me slumped in front of my computer, burying myself in my work (I'm obsessed okay) with some show playing in the background. I love cooking new recipes and feeding my loved ones (probably just as much as I love capturing your love).

“I don't even know where to start! A few years back I found Bethany's photography page on Facebook, I loved her work so much that I have been following her since then. When the time came that I needed to plan for my own wedding this year, I did not think twice and reached out to her as soon as we got the final date of our wedding. At that time, I did not even know where the celebration would be or what theme/colors we will choose for our wedding. I booked her even before finding my own wedding dress! Trevor and I literally only had three months to prep for a whole wedding. I just knew in my heart that I had to book her first before anything else! She sent us a long questionnaire so that she can have an overview of who we are as a couple and to find out what we expect from her. This showed that she makes all her services very personal. The first time Trevor and I met her were during our Engagement shoot. That day was THE most stressful because there were thunderstorms, and our shoot was going to be outdoors. Bethany has been so responsive while monitoring the weather every hour and mind you- she had to travel from NC to VA that day and was very punctual. We ended up going for the shoot because the rain stopped, and it ended up PERFECT! Trevor and I never had the experience to have a professional photoshoot done before, but Bethany made it so easy for us. She gave us cues on what to do and she just captured raw emotions which accurately reflected Trevor and I’s relationship. It was very fun and natural- no awkward moments at all! Here’s the best part- She sent me the sneak peeks of our photoshoot right on the next day! I didn’t have to wait for so long to see some photos and those kept me patient while she worked on the rest of the photos for the weeks to come. The sixth week came, and she sent me all the photos and we were just so obsessed with them! I even had one printed out on a large canvas as our welcome sign for our big day! Bethany went ABOVE AND BEYOND and created a program for our wedding which was very helpful for our wedding planning. She wanted to make sure that everyone (videographer, DJ and MC) will be on board and all the activities will fit on the timeline. On our wedding day, we were running late because of hair and make-up and Bethany stayed calm and still took the best prep wedding photos. She captured everything from the church ceremony, outdoor photos during cocktail hour, and the whole reception. I made the perfect decision to book her for the whole 8 hours. It was well worth it. Since she specializes in outdoor/destination weddings, our indoor ceremony and reception photos still DID NOT disappoint. She captured our emotions as well as of our guests, details of the wedding, all activities, and the dance party. She is amazing at what she does, she loves capturing moments and it shows in her work! Even though she works alone, she was still able to capture EVERYTHING on our wedding day. It’s been a whole month since our big day and I still can't stop looking at our sneak peek photos! I am so excited to see the rest of the photos and we are very grateful that Bethany was the ONE we chose to capture our Best Day Ever. She deserves unlimited stars and I highly recommend her!”
