Growing up I’ve always loved singing for small and large audiences. I put my all in to my performance and do everything I can to help make a couple’s happy moment one of the greatest memories they’ll ever have. I have been singing at wedding ceremonies and receptions on and off for the past 7 years. One of the most exciting weddings I’ve sang at was for a friend’s reception in Sweden! The Chicken Slacks are "Boston's Hardest Working Classic Soul, Funk, and R&B Band"! We consist of 7-members and when we play weddings or other events we include a sound engineer with some stage lighting. We also provide other services for an extra fee. We held down a 15-year residency at The Word Famous Cantab Lounge in Central Square, Cambridge, MA before the 2020 pandemic. Not only am I the band's client relations manager, I also play saxophone and am the band's emcee. Dj Edē developed a passion for DJing after being heavily influenced in a dark, crowded “underground” flight hangar at Woodstock 99′ by electronica legend Fatboy Slim. Playing in venues throughout New York, Nebraska, Georgia, and South Carolina, covering North, Midwest, and Southern regions has helped to create the versatility in his music selection. Dj Edē is known for providing high energy genre-blending sets, with the goal to take audiences through several voyages throughout the party by executing many areas of creativity in his sets.

Luigi Bravo was born in Cali Columbia, South America. His passion for music led him to create Latin Groove, a DJ service organization which is a medium for sharing the wealth of the hispanic culture through music. He owns and supervises a DJ mobile business that performs at over 100 events annually. Dj Luigi has spinned in many clubs across the United States especially, in South Carolina (Charleston, Columbia, Greenville) Augusta, GA, Charlotte, NC and more.

Zoe has been studying the violin for over 20 years. Her education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Violin Performance from the College of Charleston where she studied under Charleston Symphony Concertmaster, Yuriy Bekker. She then continued her education in Arizona, receiving a Masters of Music Degree in Violin from Northern Arizona University. Zoe was recipient of the Gates-Taylor Award by the NAU School of Music and received the Mary Stewart Allen Award for Violin and Most Outstanding Music Award by the CofC School of the Arts.

The founding members were students at Benedict College in Columbia, SC where they sang on both the Concert and Gospel Choirs. Kaila is a Canadian singer, song writer and musician. Her style is best described as a mixed blend between “70’s disco soul and rock edge.” Her music seeks to find that perfect balance of harmonies between the fusion of old school dance (Disco, Funk, Pop, Rock) and new school music (Electro, EDM, Dance). What separates her from the rest of the pretty girls that can sing is her musical studies: Kaila studied classical and jazz theory with an emphasis on Vocal Techniques, Music Business and Live Sound Set-up.

Funk Factory 5 is a high energy five-piece band originating out of Atlanta, GA. Founded by lead guitarist and music instructor, Tico Manley, the band has been playing all styles of music - from rock and r&b to jazz, the blues, golden oldies, country, and much more.
