The Mt. Zion Convention Center is a multipurpose meeting and convention facility located in the newly constructed Mt. Zion Village East building along State Highway 121. Modern in design and technology, the Convention Center will serve Mt. Zion and our surrounding community as a destination for local and regional events. It has a grand ballroom that can be divided into three smaller rooms as well as three other small meeting rooms. The grand ballroom contains 11,000 square feet of unobstructed exhibit/meeting space, full-service catering, and experienced staff to help coordinate events of many sizes from as few as ten people to as many as 800 guests!

Crowne Plaza Springfield is an elegant and unique hotel located in Springfield, Illinois. This 70,000-square-foot event space is perfect for your glamorous wedding ceremony and reception. The Crowne Plaza Springfield is located just miles from Interstate 55 and 72. Offering both indoor and outdoor event spaces, the Crowne Plaza Springfield can accommodate up to 1,000 guests. Construction on the Lake Springfield Postal Club began in the early 1940s. Post office employees donated over 50,000 hours on weekends, evenings and days off to complete the building. A team of horses and a sliding bucket were used to dig out the basement. The Postal Club officially opened in 1948. The total construction cost was approximately $15,000. In 2005, there were only two of the original Postal Club members left. In 2000 the Postal Club merged with the Springfield Firefighters Local 37. In 2001 the firefighters burned down the original Postal Club to make way for a new building. The new club was completed in 2002. The total construction cost was $3.6 million. The clubhouse is surrounded by 5 acres of woods, with boathouses, docks, beaches, parking lot, sidewalks, bandstand, and much more.

Each of our Formal Gardens creates a unique, magical space for a wedding ceremony. The Gardens feature extensive plantings and over 100 ornaments and sculptures. Set amid the beauty of an idyllic nine-acre farmstead, this converted two-story Dutch hay barn, with its exposed timbers and 30-foot ceiling, offers a rustic and charming atmosphere unlike others found in Central Illinois. The Music Barn seats up to 200 guests for wedding ceremonies. Because the Barn is not temperature controlled, it is only available to rent between April and October.
