“The Madison Event Center was the perfect venue for our Wedding Day! From start to finish, The Madison team took such great care of all our needs and made us feel so special. The planning process was very easy and stress free because they offer an all-inclusive package and handle everything on site, so we didn’t have to do much. We enjoyed working with the Details Specialist, Riley. She made sure no detail was missed while offering great advice too! It was nice having Hotel Covington next door, we took advantage of the Wedding Room Block offerings, Suites to get ready in on the day of, and we even hosted our Rehearsal Dinner and Welcome Reception at the Hotel! Our family and friends loved the convenience of it all! When it came to the night of our Wedding, everything was truly perfect! The Madison provides a Banquet Captain to take care of everything throughout the night, our Captain went above and beyond our expectations. We have such beautiful memories to carry with us and are beyond thankful for The Madison & Hotel Covington bringing our dream Wedding to life!”

“The staff were very professional and kind. Even when we had a few bumps in the road, staff was more than willing to help us out! The venue is gorgeous as well and the decorators did a fantastic job setting up my decor. The wedding felt very low stress because everything was being handled so well! The food was so good, too. “Not only is it gorgeous, it's such a great place to cater. There's plenty of space for all of our equipment and for whatever size buffet and bars we need to do. They also have a kitchen with a full sink and running water, and an ice bin incase we didn't bring enough ice. I have worked with Botanical Gardens for 7 years and can honestly say it's definitely one of my favorites!”

“Though I'm not a bride/couple that has utilized the Civic Center as a venue, I can offer a different perspective on the space. I'm a videographer, and frequently film at the Lima Civic Center. The team there has always been very professional and treated me with courtesy. They've helped out when needed (like when a counterpart needed a quiet place to deal with a medical issue). They make me feel like I'm part of their team when I'm there. I've seen how they interact with wedding patrons and families, and I would not hesitate to recommend the Civic Center to couples. I also think it's very neat and convenient to have the hotel attached. I've seen weddings in several different spaces within the building, including the main convention hall, the theater, and the lobby with tremendous natural light. In short, as a vendor I've been very pleased with my experiences at the Lima Civic Center. I frequently encourage my friends and family to inquire with the venue about having their wedding celebrations there.”
