“The Last Resort is so incredibly special. I have been a wedding planner on the Big Island for the past 8 years, and time and time again, couples are looking for a venue where many of their guests can stay on site and also hosts events. It is the most common request we get!
And this venue is one of the very best - and is certainly the best value. The homes are STUNNING and so comfortable. Every detail, every piece of furniture, and every fixture was so carefully chosen. It is all comfortable and beautiful.
For weddings, it also has so much going for it. There's plenty of parking, two fairly large lawns for the event space, a 200 year old Banyan tree that is a perfect backdrop for ceremonies or receptions, two large kitchens, both with plenty of space for catering teams, and great landscaping for photos. There's a peekaboo ocean view and the homes are very private and surrounded by forests and fields. It is just so special and tranquil.
Lastly, the Last Resort is an amazing value! There is nowhere on our island, even close to as nice, for the price. I recommend all the time to our couples, and really to any couple planning a midsize or smaller wedding or event. It will absolutely exceed your expectations!”
