About this venue
We are an ideal venue for couples seeking an off-the-beaten-path, intimate wedding with a touch of adventure and a deep love for nature. Perfect for those who cherish the harmony of simplicity with a touch of elegance, beauty, and tranquility, our private property is shared with the community, offering a truly special and serene experience. Set on three-acres of breathtaking land, our retreat center provides a unique and meaningful setting to celebrate family and love. For overnight celebrations, we comfortably accommodate up to 13 over-night guests, with a required two-night minimum stay, ensuring a relaxed and immersive experience. We also welcome groups for daytime events, held between 9 AM and 10 PM. Located across from the ocean, on the lush east side of the Big Island, our retreat is nestled in the jungle, where the weather is varied yet always beautiful, adding to the magic of this extraordinary setting.

Kūaloli is meticulously crafted to evoke the ambiance of a botanical garden and sanctuary, featuring enchanting butterfly habitats, serene lily ponds, a diverse array of tropical fruit trees, and large open spaces. We cater to weddings and events that can be enjoyed for a single day or extended into an overnight experience, with the added convenience of a tent available to shield you from the elements.
