My name is Amanda Beninati and I’m a photographer based in South Shore, MA - more specifically Stoughton. I’m the girl who will do literally anything for a photo - I’ve been known to walk away from sessions soaking wet from shooting in the ocean or covered in mud. To me, it's ALWAYS worth it.

My passion for photography and weddings began when I was very young. I staged Barbie weddings, making their dresses from Kleenex, then snuck Mom’s camera to take pictures of them. I moved on to dressing up my little sister in a pillowcase veil, again sneaking Mom’s camera. When she got tired of me using up all her film, she brought home several Bride magazines from the free pile at the library and I spent hours reading them, then pinning pages of beautiful wedding dresses on the ceiling of my bedroom. When “The Wedding Planner” came out in 2001, my fate was sealed

Tyler’s love of photography started in his mid-twenties while touring with the Billboard-charting indie-rock band, A Great Big Pile of Leaves. He began his professional photography career capturing behind-the-scenes images for national ad campaigns and found his strength in anticipating all of the emotional, hilarious, quirky and exciting candid moments. Tyler’s documentary photography style is inspired by photo journalism and his editing embodies the tones, contrast and color familiar to analog film. While he enjoys the technical and creative aspects of portraiture photography, capturing the spontaneity of life is what drives his work.

I am enthralled with chasing whimsy and depth with every breath, every glance, every photograph. More wonderfully, though, is how dreams no longer need chasing when I come across two people in love. Love is its own whole dang storybook. Let me put it this way: I get chills when I see dust catch in the light, I get giddy when I watch a mountain sunset run its fingers through windblown hair, my heart swells when I see flowers blooming through cracks in the street and laughter running wild through the breeze. Hello Lovely!! I'm just a girl from Maine who has loved taking pictures since I received my first camera for Christmas in second grade. Years later, I took my first black & white class in high school, where I would explore the backwoods of Maine and get lost in the lines of dark pine trees and fresh white snow. I love the natural world and natural light. This was when photography became a passion. I'm SO inspired by love.

Since I was a young girl I have loved art. Drawing, painting, taking photos with my grandma's disposable cameras. Fast forward twenty years later, I'm still that same girl with the same passion. I picked up my first professional camera a little over four years ago and haven't looked back since. After my son was born I realized how important and fast life moments go by and I didn't want to forget a single one!
