Hey there! I'm Fernando Ávila. I founded Ellyce Wedding Films while my wife and I were planning our wedding in 2019. By this point, I had already accumulated 15 years of experience shooting wedding videos and my wife simply couldn't understand why I wasn't booking my own clients. She encouraged me to explore the idea. So, here we are. I named my company after my wife, Ebony Ellyce Ávila.

Ryan began his wedding videography career in 2010 in Los Angeles and quickly became recognized as one of the top videographers in the U.S.. After relocating to DC and still receiving countless inquiries from all corners of the country, Ryan decided to recruit and train a few talented friends so he could continue offering the quality wedding videography he’s known for in SoCal and eventually over 10 cities. I grew-up in Belém, the state of Pará, in Brazil. When I explain where Belém is, I always say it is next to the Amazon. I also say what a beautiful city it is. After Belém I moved to Rio, where I realized how much passion I have for photography. It wasn't until I came to Chicago that I could be myself and do what I love. I studied video before photography and started doing short films. Today, I am a photographer and videographer with a great heart, who wants to capture memories. This is the way I express myself. Hi! I'm Soohyun, I began working with my creative partner Saehee shorty after our wedding in 2009. We remember the feeling of overwhelming joy on our wedding day to be surrounded by the people we love while celebrating our commitment. We strive to capture the uniqueness of your story with still and moving images. I has been a fine arts photographer for more than 19 years, and my wife Saehee began as a video editor in television and radio but found her passion behind the lens. Together with Saehee we came to Chicago in 2012, where I received my MFA in Photography from the University of Illinois Chicago.

S&S Wedding Films was founded on a shared passion for using cinematography and storytelling in combination with profound moments to create magical, immersive films that will be cherished a lifetime.
