Welcome. The Grounds of North Star is located on the path of our Lady of Guadalupe. At the center of the 50-acre farm stands the world’s largest statue of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Mary’s likeness stands 50 feet tall and is covered by over 450,000 mosaic tiles. In front of the statue lies the LAKE OF HOPE, surrounded by the world’s largest illuminated fifteen-decade rosary. At night, the view is awe-inspiring as the beads light up the night sky.

Situated at the corner of Main and Vine Street, an area where a mill used to be, the space mixes historic finds with retro decor. The result is a unique and welcoming place perfect for celebrating weddings and receptions. Features include an eye-catching bar area with gleaming vintage bar top, a wide catering kitchen, a private back room with sofa and tables for a bride to use as a dressing room, a back lounge area, and a whimsical coatrack wall.

Schaefer Farms is located on 18 acres conveniently located only minutes from I-71, which is why we cater to the Cleveland, Akron/Canton and Columbus couples! We now have INDOOR barn space that is included! Rustic yet modern farmhouse feel! Not only are we one of the most affordable venues in Ohio, we offer a lot more flexibility than most! Bring your own caterer, or do it yourself! Everything that you "need" is included! Tables, chairs, decor, dessert display, gift table, ceremony area, dancefloor and more! $1000 deposit will hold your date, and we will break out the balance into payments if it is easier for you!

Thunderhead Pines is an elegant venue located in Smithville, Ohio. The Barnstone is a beautiful, rustic country setting for your wedding and reception. The Barnstone consists of a original 100 year old plus Barn, Summer House and authentic Carriage house that can all be used by your guests for the special event. Doug and his family have installed brand new flooring in the barn, new outdoor restrooms and a deck to provide you with that special location for your wedding and reception for up to 200 people.

The farm, consisting of 135 acres has been in the family for 8 generations. Our farm was homesteaded in 1831 by David & Elizabeth Firestone. The bank barn was built in the mid-1800's. Ted, grandson of Chester & Ester Firestone, along with myself, have lived on the farm for the past 35 years.
