Cakes by Melissa has created artisinal cakes for the last 15 years. From H.S prom cupcakes, to a shed made for Tanglewood, to large corporate orders, to the most intricately designed wedding cake. It has been her passion for years, and shows in each and every cake or dessert she makes.

“Working with Melissa was such a blessing in a time of craze, nerves and excitement. I had never hosted a party of this size (150-200). From initial contact, to taste testing and solidifying the order- Melissa made it seamless and nothing less than professional and thorough. I was guaranteed a time, place and delivery. There was no worry due to the contact Melissa kept with me throughout the process. The cake and cupcakes arrived on time and were beautiful!! “Choosing Cakes by Reba was the best choice of vendor we made for our reception. Our wedding was 11 months ago (apologies on taking so long to write the review), but our families are still talking about the cake and desserts we had at our reception! Reba was wonderful to work with, offered great suggestions as we were trying to decide cake flavors, and offered the best expertise. In addition to the wedding cake, we ordered specialty cupcakes and cheesecake bites. The groom's father passed away before the wedding, so adding toffee crumbles (his favorite sweet) to the top of the cheesecake bites was a personal touch that the guests absolutely loved. Reba was communicative, punctual on the day of, and easy to work with. I would recommend Cakes by Reba as the perfect choice for a wedding cake and dessert vendor for your wedding. You will not regret it! Her work was delicious and equally as stunning to look at. Thank you Reba for all you did for us for our wedding.”

We're typically not cake people, but we described to Sydney some of our favourite sweet flavours and she combined them beautifully - and we couldn't even tell the cake was gluten-free! “I sent Crystal this photo and I was a bit nervous at first about how they'd be able to make this happen but honestly I am so happy with how this came out it really was absolutely beautiful. I wasn't able to meet her in person with everything going on but she dropped it off for us on time and my coordinator was great in getting everything set up and presented. A few blueberries fell off during handling but considering how detailed and intricate the cake was I am so beyond thrilled at how this came out. I really don't often ask for perfection but with how this came out it's really right up there being perfect. If I find any better photos I will absolutely update this post with them. The venue itself was an absolute disaster but it was great having all those excessive blueberries everywhere it really made a mess and watching them clean it all up later was just fantastic. I'm not even sure if it's on their regular menu but I asked them to do a lemon cake with a blueberry compote inside (I have no idea what that means but my now wife had me asking for that) and the flavors and taste of the cake were just beyond extraordinary. They also made and brought a smaller mint chocolate cake to accommodate some allergies we had in the family and one bite my breath was smelling good all night! Thank you so much for everything I will definitely have you guys doing more in the future!”

“Let me tell y’all - we had our wedding in a state we don’t live in, so it was very much a “trust the process and trust our vendors” kind of situation. Drew came THROUGH!!! She was so patient with us and made sure we had exactly what we wanted for our wedding cake, and oh my goodness was it delicious! My spouse and I had never eaten a wedding cake that 1) tasted so good, or 2) was that fluffy and moist. We were also able to get some allergy-friendly cupcakes, and they tasted exactly like the rest of the cake. We’re so glad we trusted Drew with our wedding cake and hope we have a reason to get a cake from them again soon!!”
