“I was referred to Birch Fields by my cousin (who used Birch Fields for her wedding) 2 weeks before my June 2020 Covid wedding. We decided last minute to have the wedding even if it was just going to be immediate family. Because no extended family or friends were allowed at the time we wanted a way to record the day as if they were there. I had posted I was looking for someone to shoot on a VHS camcorder and film the whole wedding start to finish with no breaks just like old family videos we had growing up. Steven not only was up for the challenge, but spent his whole day capturing every detail of our wedding. We got copies of both 4k and VHS which is so special and cool. “I cannot say enough about Veneer Media. They did the videography for our wedding and reception on August 29, 2020. We were originally not going to have videographers; however, with the sudden passing of my Dad back in July 2020, we decided that it would be nice to have a video of loved ones enjoying our day. I contacted Veneer with THREE WEEKS to go until our wedding. I knew their name from the recommendation of my photographer. Just like many weddings in 2020, I had no idea what was going on. My 1st venue was closed. I had to move everything to either another venue or at the last possible option, my backyard. They were extremely professional and flexible in any change in plans that were about to happen. I met with them via video chat to discuss what my vision was for the day and then a second time to discuss my timeline. We also discussed important events of the day that I definitely wanted in the video. I found them to be very organized, friendly, communicative, and they work with your vision. As for the actual video, we received a 1 minute teaser a few weeks after the wedding, and then a full highlight video following after a few weeks. I can tell that they are extremely dedicated to their craft. Everything from the scenes from the day, to the music, to the lyrics of the song - they are all carefully and meticulously put together. As someone with a deep arts background growing up, I appreciate the musicality and moving the scenes to the beat of the music, as opposed to just showing scene after scene. They also "hook" into the lyrics so that they are telling a story to the viewer. They captured our day and our personalities perfectly. To be honest, I was worried that having a video of the day would be "cheesy" or "not us", but Veneer was able to incorporate not only scenes that were sentimental and emotional, but funny and goofy as well. Our video is beautiful, and I am recommending them to everyone I know. Thank you so much, Bianca and Hung!”

“From the moment I met Niki and Aubrey we knew in our gut who would photograph our wedding. Interviewing other photographers instantly became unnecessary. Niki and Aubrey’s portfolio spoke for itself, but witnessing his passion firsthand was the icing on the cake. Our first photography session with Niki and Aubrey was our engagement shoot, and that is where Aubrey shined. She was incredibly prepared, with a vision of the final product already in her mind, despite never seeing the location prior. The engagement shoot served as a proof of concept for our wedding, but still couldn’t prepare me for how perfect the big day would go.
