Naperville Florist did such an amazing job with our wedding. We asked for bouquets that feel very organic and whimsical and they totally delivered. We also were delivered an abundance of loose flowers to put into bud vases for our tables. Everything was so beautiful and the flowers remained fresh and alive all through the wedding. When morning came, we were able to put our flowers into several vases to give as gifts and to bring to my father’s grave. Thank you Naperville Florist for being such a huge part of our day and creating a sentiment for us and everyone else to enjoy even following our wedding.

Petal Station

5.0

  • Starts at $2,000
  • Serves Batavia, IL

Since 2001, Petal Station (formerly known as Trudy’s Flowers and BouqBox) has proudly served the local communities in the Greater Chicago region. We only source the best and freshest blooms and greens to produce the most elegant floral arrangements for our customers.

A friend recommended Petal Stationto me. I consulted with the owner, Kitty, who understood exactly what I wanted. I didn’t pay much attention to the flowers because I was busy with other wedding planning. However, Kitty was always on top of everything so I really didn’t need to worry about anything. More surprisingly, the flowers on the wedding day turned out to be so beautiful that all my guests were impressed. Thank you Petal Station for making the whole process easy and worry-free. I definitely recommend it!

The Local Petaler

5.0

  • Serves Batavia, IL

The Local Petaler is a wedding and event floral design studio based in St. Charles, IL. The business started as a part-time venture just over 4 years ago in my mom's garage and quickly blossomed (awful pun) into a full-fledged career. With at least 100 weddings produced under The Local Petaler and countless others worked on as a freelance designer for other companies, I've done a little bit of everything at every venue. You're in good hands!

We loved working with Jen at the Local Petaler! Going into the planning process, I didn't have much of a vision for my wedding flowers, but Jen did a wonderful job of guiding me through the process, making recommendations, and answering all of my questions. On the wedding day, she went above and beyond! She's a true artist, and each space of the venue was beautifully done. She even put together little mini bouquets for the guests to take home at the end of the night - a great way to share the love and extend the life of the beautiful centerpieces! Thank you to the Local Petaler for making our wedding so beautiful!

Phillip's Flowers & Gifts

5.0

  • Serves Batavia, IL

Seven family members are active in the Chicago floral business, which now reaches beyond Chicago, too. For nationwide flower delivery, Phillip's was recently named one of the Top 50 florists in North America, the company's online flower shops have earned it honors, and Phillip's has also been named an Illinois Retailer of the Year. Phillip's Flowers may be best known locally for its colorful floral shops, busy delivery vehicles, and custom wedding flowers. Still, in an age of giant corporations and mega-mergers, it's nice to know that some small family businesses like Phillip's are blooming, too.

Phillip's Flowers is the absolute best! The flowers and decor were absolutely perfect! We worked with Laura Walsh and her team, and they were truly outstanding. At our first meeting, Laura guided us through every step of the process, took detailed notes, and asked questions to help us think through every detail. She even made arrangements based on our wedding colors. At our second meeting, she created more bouquets and centerpieces, which really allowed us to visualize what to expect on our wedding day. Laura was incredibly patient and understanding of last-minute changes. She is knowledgeable, flexible, and truly cares about her customers. We could not have asked for a better experience. Thanks for everything!

Floral Wonders did an amazing job for our wedding! I don’t know anything about flowers but I sent inspo pics of floral pillars and they absolutely nailed it. They were gorgeous and exactly how I had pictured them. They deconstructed the pillars after the ceremony for loose florals on the reception tables, which also turned out exactly as I had imagined. The boutonnières and corsages were perfect and the bridal party bouquets were beautiful. I loved my bridal bouquet - I’m in the process of preserving it into a resin table so I can keep it forever. Everyone I spoke to leading up to the wedding plus the staff onsite on the day of were so nice and professional - I am so happy we went with Floral Wonders for our wedding day!

Wild Orchid Custom Floral Design

5.0

  • Serves Batavia, IL

Marie Pauly is the Owner of Wild Orchid Custom Floral Design and Tim Pauly, her husband is Co-Owner. Right from the beginning Tim and I were inseparable and it was obvious we would be together forever. After marrying in 1980, we moved to the small western suburbs to raise our children and opened “The Wildflower” shop in 1989, which specialized in silk arrangements and gifts. Trends changed and The Wildflower slowly rebranded into Wild Orchid and focused specifically on fresh floral design. From weddings to sympathy arrangements; Wild Orchid grew with referrals and to this day prides itself on satisfied client referrals. I strive to treat each couple as if they were my own family and work to make their big day everything they dreamed of and more. My better-half, Tim, serves as the backbone to Wild Orchid with his behind the scenes dedication to the business. He helps with wedding day logistics to make sure everything arrives en-tact and also creates custom decor elements for various events.

I cannot recommend Marie from Wild Orchid enough! As the bride, I’ve known Marie for years, and there was no one else I trusted more to bring my wedding florals to life. She absolutely exceeded all expectations. From the very beginning, Marie was attentive, kind, and truly listened to my vision. On our wedding day (11/2/24), the florals were breathtaking — they were everything I had imagined and more! Every detail, from the bridal bouquet to the centerpieces, was perfect and beautifully crafted. I’m beyond grateful for Marie’s talent, professionalism, and the personal touch she brought to our special day. Thank you, Marie, for making my dream wedding come true! Love you!

Miriam and her team at Esther's Private Garden were wonderful from start to finish. Her authenticity and just realness and transparency is what sets her apart and something I great appreciated as an over analyzer. For example, I quoted and interviewed 7 different Chicago florists before choosing Ester's Private Garden and I would 100% book her again! From the first beautiful proposal to our continuing conversations, Miriam was able to take my color vision to life. Coming up with a colorful palette that blended summer and fall colors (a September wedding) was no easy feat but Miriam was able to execute so full! I was in awe of my flowers from my bridal bouquet to ceremony stands, and our grand staircase. Out tables were event a gradient of colors and a last add-on of incorporating fruit, she did it and did it perfectly. We got numerous compliments from our florals and many guests begged to take center pieces home. Aside from the quality of her work, she is overall a good person. So friendly, sympathized with the stress of wedding planning, and really just felt like a friend and someone on my team. I am so appreciative of her and can not recommend her enough!

The Faux Bouquets

5.0

  • Starts at $175
  • Serves Batavia, IL
  • Offer

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

Awarded Best of Zola
I had the absolute best experience with The Faux Bouquets. The flowers were absolutely stunning for my wedding. The owner, Brittany, was so kind and even called me to make sure my wedding wouldn't be affected by Hurricane Helene. Thankfully, my area was not affected, but I just really felt that was a special kindness that needs to be called out. But again, the quality of the bouquets, micro sprays and greenery was so great and photographed so well! And all at a fraction of the cost of real flowers that would have just been thrown away at the end of the night! The delivery and return process couldn't have been simpler! And I loved my husband and I got to customize and keep my bouquet and his boutonniere during a promotional add-on! Thank you again, Brittany and The Faux Bouquets, for helping make our wedding so beautiful!

Working with Jen was wonderful and seamless. She helps you every step of the way to figure out what you would like. The DIY class was so much fun, and we were able to build all of our centerpieces, boutonnières, and bouquets. Jen also built my cascade bouquet and beautiful garland for us! I love that her flower designs mimic real flowers and that foliage was an option. She took the care to make sure I had what I wanted and sent me multiple pictures during the process and of the finished result before we picked them up for the wedding. She accepted my feedback and made changes to the bouquets to match my vision. I still have my bouquet and my husbands boutonniere as keepsakes that remind me of our special day. My husband and I worked with Clover and Stone for our wedding and could not possibly have been happier! Diane understood and was able to execute our vision completely. The flowers were breathtaking and completely captured the vibe we were looking for. While I'm sure she could create any look and style you wanted, we were drawn to the organic, natural flow of her work - the flowers looked like they were growing out of their vessels. Romantic, sexy and lush. Calm, collected, warm and incredibly talented, Diane and the Clover and Stone team made us feel safe and taken care of at an event that could otherwise have been fraught with stress and anxiety. I highly, highly recommend working with this incredible team - you will not and could not possibly be disappointed.

I did a lot of research prior to picking a florist for our wedding. After talking to Jessica about my hopes and vision for our wedding flowers, and seeing her proposal, I knew she was the florist for us!! The flowers for our wedding were GORGEOUS! We got so many compliments on how beautiful every bouquet, bout, and centerpiece was. On top of ordering and creating everything for our wedding day, my mother in law called Jessica the week of our wedding to see if she could make centerpieces for our rehearsal dinner (there was last minute drama with the original florist my MIL chose). Jessica amazingly said no problem, and created beautiful Tuscan themed center pieces for our wine cellar rehearsal dinner. I HIGHLY recommend Anemone Creative for your floral and centerpiece needs. You will get beautifully designed pieces and work with an incredibly talented floral designer who can make your vision come to life!

flowers by stem

Modern, sustainable, hand-crafted floral design for weddings and events in the Chicago area. At flowers by stem, we see our floral designs as a physical expression of our clients' love, and it's our honor to express their love through flowers. We believe flowers can inspire beautiful moments, and cherish the opportunity to work with people as they plan their special celebrations. Flowers by stem owner Stephanie Stopka founded flowers by stem in 2006 on the idea that the key to beautiful design is a personalized approach, the highest quality flowers and eco-friendly mechanics.

My husband and I booked Flowers by Stem after speaking with Stephanie and discussing our budget & vision. She sent back an amazing proposal and we just had to lock them in for our big day. From the beginning they were easy to communicate with and when things were changing closer to the date, they quickly responded and made sure we were all set. On the day of the wedding, they were right on time, and I am so thrilled and happy we went with them because the flowers and decor were more beautiful than I could have ever imagined! Stephanie & her team delivered exactly what they promised and more! We received so many compliments about the bouquets, flowers & decor on the day-of and for days after! We truly appreciated how special they helped make our day! We cannot recommend enough!

PROJECT 1952

5.0

  • Starts at $7,000
  • Serves Batavia, IL

I love color and a well-curated day trip. I have a total obsession with plants and finding the best Spotify playlists. When I’m not flowering, you’ll probably find me thrifting for bespoke home finds, dominating 1500-piece puzzles, and scouring the internet for the next best concert in Chicago.

We used Project 1952 for our engagement party. We were so thrilled with the outcome. Naimah was so engaged and attentive to our vision for the day. She took our vision and made it come to life while using her own creativity. She arrived well ahead of time to get the room set up and the arrangements in place. She thought about every detail down to edible flowers and glitter in the ice cubes that had our guests raving. She was so easy to work with and went above and beyond what we had asked of her. We could not recommend her work enough! We will definitely be using her again!
