The barn is a Nucor Steel barn that has been transformed into a Rustic Barn inside with floor to ceiling timber wood siding, horse stalls transformed into a bar, kitchen and modern restrooms, an upper level previous hay mound and storage rooms transformed into a bride and grooms suites. The outside 40 acre farm formerly were horse pastures now transformed into green luscious grass with choices of Arbors for your ceremonies, beautiful ponds, lots of room for parking, with a farm style like ranch gardens and backdrops with woodsy and scenic views for fantastic wedding photos. This is a very relaxing place to just take your shoes off, dance and enjoy the barn that is more than just a barn.

In 1999, the Frutig family purchased a historic farm on the West side of Ann Arbor, home to two barns dating back to the 19th century. The Italian American Club of Livonia was founded in 1977. With membership growing, a momentous decision was made in 1990 to build a new Clubhouse & Banquet facility. With then President, Tony Greco, spearheading the effort, financing was obtained and ground was broken in 1993, culminating with a Grand Opening Gala.
