We were thrilled with our experience at Carleton Farms. The venue was simply gorgeous, with beautiful rustic charm that perfectly captured the ambiance we envisioned for our big day. Communication with the staff was amazing - they were responsive, attentive, and ensured every detail was taken care of so we could relax and enjoy our wedding. The value for what we paid was fantastic. Despite a bit of rain, the staff swiftly wiped down chairs and pivoted to keep everything on track. If you’re looking for a beautiful, rustic and elegant venue. Then choose Sadie Lake Weddings. It’s reasonably priced and they choose to cherish that weddings are for love not for money. DeeDee and her husband are both very nice people and go above and beyond to celebrate your day. I chose Sadie Lake Weddings because I am the baby of 5. My eldest sister and her husband got married there 18 years ago when it was called something different and owned by the Browns. I had the most beautiful wedding. My husband hopes in 10 years that if they’re still around, we’ll have our vow renewal there. It’s kept clean and beautiful during spring, summer and fall. We’re from Kirkland and from all the places I looked at online, Sadie Lake Weddings in Arlington, WA was the one. I knew it as soon as I met DeeDee on the first and last venue we looked at. So if you’re interested in Sadie Lakes. Go for it. You won’t be disappointed and Congratulations!!!!

From the moment we reached out, their communication was amazing - they were incredibly detailed, responsive, and truly cared about making our day special. The venue itself was absolutely breathtaking, with beautiful natural scenery that provided the perfect backdrop for our ceremony and reception. And on top of that, we were blown away by the incredible value - the quality of their work was far beyond what we expected for the very reasonable price. By holding our October 2024 wedding at Marionfield, we not only had a gorgeous venue; we also had guidance, support, and tips every step of the way from John, Marionfield's wonderful owner. From our first visit, we could tell that John was invested in our wedding succeeding. He gave honest, thoughtful answers to our initial questions. Once we selected Marionfield, John gave helpful advice about layouts, useful pointers about timelines, stellar recommendations for other vendors, and transparent information about the venue and what does and doesn't work well there. John always responded quickly and thoroughly to emails. He was generous with his time, letting me visit once six months before the wedding and again three months beforehand for a walk through with my coordinator. John is warm, caring, and honest. When you book your wedding at Marionfield, you are also securing a dedicated teammate in your wedding planning journey. About the venue itself: Marionfield is gorgeous. The buildings, landscaping, walkways, and furnishings are all in tip-top condition. Marionfield gets the details right -- dimmable lights in the barn, ADA accessibility, comfortable chairs, the spacious bridal suite with a full kitchen. The location is private, secluded, and quiet. The historic barn offers a charming, romantic backdrop. You also get a team of helpful people on your wedding day who make flips of the space happen, see that the water stays full, and that your other vendors are where they need to be. The team worked seamlessly to make our wedding go off without a hitch. The high level of included services (staff who handle chair and table set-up, venue flips, most clean-up) and add-ons available for very reasonable fees (hot cider bar, flatware, plates, glass water goblets) at Marionfield means fewer moving parts and details to keep track of. I could go on and on with positive things about John Olson and Marionfield. My husband and I highly recommend selecting Marionfield for your wedding venue.

We had our wedding here June 24, 2023 - and we could not have been happier with our choice. The venue itself is just beautiful already, but Dave and Terri are constantly doing work throughout the year to improve it in whatever way they can think of! We booked our venue 1 1/2 years in advance, so we took many trips to Stilly Brook during that time, and every single time we went to visit we noticed an additional change that had been made to keep the venue looking beautiful. Whether it was repainting to make something look more fresh/vibrant, planting new flowers, or adding a new structure to use as an additional option for ceremony location or photos - they are always working hard to keep this venue in tip top shape year round. Even the massive lawn stays mowed and in pristine condition! Additionally, a great feature here is while there are many outdoor options for where the ceremony is to be held, there is a beautiful indoor option as well! In the PNW, even for a summer wedding, it was great to know we had a great back up option in case the weather didn’t cooperate. Lastly, Terri is amazing to work with - she is so communicative, helpful, and knowledgeable. She lays things out thoroughly to help navigate all the ins and outs of wedding planning you may not even think of, and was always available for any questions or needs we had. Special mention to their preferred bartender, Leanne, who was just as communicative and helpful as Terri while planning for the bar! The great quality and kindness of the preferred vendors, and the beautiful condition of the property itself, are a reflection of all the care that is put into this venue by Dave and Terri - this is something that becomes even more clear with each interaction, as this care is poured into your day as well. We highly recommend Stilly Brook!!
