I began using super 8 film 10 years ago to document my family’s life and I was immediately hooked. I have always loved getting film developed and returned, and super 8 film is a magical, mini time capsule.

Based in California and open to travel, Tenaya Films specializes in crafting nostalgic wedding films. I have a passion for capturing authentic moments that tell your unique love story. I've been filming and photographing weddings since 2009. I'm also a musician and I help craft most of the music in the wedding films I create. I love working with couples that have unique personalities and styles. My work resonates the most with who it's made for, and I always keep that audience in mind.

I create short films from your old home movies and favorite photographs. Process: First, we'll chat and you tell me everything you'd like to share about you or your loved ones featured in the footage. I'll walk you through selecting the photos/videos to best tell your story. You gather all the footage (feel free to outsource to family + friends!) and send to me. And that's it! I take it from there and get to work creating a short film that reflects you + your unique story.

I've been filming weddings for over 5 years now and to this day I love being behind the lens and getting creative with each unique wedding. Capturing lifelong memories, that you'd be able to playback with your family and friends for many more years to come!

Hi I'm Waleed! I'm a videographer dedicated to capturing your special day in an artistic and candid way so you can relive each moment like you're there. I believe the best results come from the most natural and unscripted moments where you and your loved ones are just being themselves. When I'm not working the camera, I am either travelling, cooking, or spending time with friends and family.

We work with the average human, not models, and through prompting, and just sort of watching you (god that feels creepy to say), we'll craft gorgeous images that feel like you. I'm not interested in making images that look standard, or that don't tell a story, that's the whole point of hiring a videographer right? To be able to tell your wedding day story.
